Chapter 24

Ash's Pov

We walked in the main reception room and saw all the children standing in the room scared and Billy pulling chains that were holding Frozen food.

"Kids? What's going on?" Asked Aria.

All the kids looked at her and huddled around her,"Please help Billy, he is trying to save our food from the vampires that keep stealing it."

"Red... Get off my shoulder." She said.

I flew off and stood on one of the tables. She walked over to Billy and held the stick hard and jammed it on the floor between the chains.

Unfortunately that wasn't the only thing it jammed , because we heard a hiss of pain.

Aria's ankle was bleeding , but she didn't seem to care about herself because she jammed the blade deeper in her own flesh and blood.

Her hand trailed to a button that was a bit higher and pressed it.

Oh. My. God.

Is she trying to kill herself?

Billy has long left the chains go and was huddled by the children, looking at the sight in horror.

I flew over to Aria and shrieked, "Are you trying to kill yourself!?"

She didn't even bother to answer me.

She pulled and pulled with her finger on the button electrifying both herself and the chains.

We all heard a scream of pain, but Aria started to get weaker because she was screaming but was still moving backwards pulling the chain with her.

I flew to the other end of the chain and saw 20 vamps pulling the chain but for some reason Aria was stronger even with her health state.

Her knuckles were completely white and I thought for a moment that if she  pulls or holds on any tighter they would break.

I heard her screaming again, her hands seemed to get tighter and tighter and eventually the stick broke and made a big gash on her ankle.

She drops on her knees still holding on tho the chain.

Her hands slipped but her feet caught it but something about her feet caught my attention.

They were pheonix claws and her hands became wings with fire forming from all around her with long feathers appearing on her head.

We heard her deafing scream as she flapped harder and harder when she pulled the chain away from those vampires hands.

She collapsed on the floor and changed back to human her black short hair growing navy blue and long again her lenses breaking and falling out of her eyes.

She coughed out a lot of blood before completely falling unconscious.
