Chapter 17

Talia's Pov

"You look like you didn't sleep all night." I said looking at his slumped body against the door, while I done some workouts, to not seem suspicious and to get ready for my flying lessons.

He looked at me and soften his expression.

"Yes, I actually had. Anyway Talia, breakfast is served." He said with a half grin.

I stood up and walked over to him, grabbed the tray in one hand and shoved him to the couch with my other.

"Leave this work to me, you better get some sleep. And by the time I'm finished I of course don't want you to be with me in the room." I said the last sentence a bit nervously.

He didn't seem to notice my words because he was already asleep.

'Don't worry about him.' said a familiar voice in my head.

'Ash?' I thought.

'Yes Princess?' came the voice again.

'Please call me Talia or whatever my other name is supposed to be.'

'Okay, Aria.'

'Now tell me where are you?'

'On your shoulder.'

I look at my left shoulder nothing, and my right nothing either.

'Stop messing around and tell me where you are.' I responded.

'I told you that I'm on your shoulder except that you can't see me because I'm invisible.'

I felt a rough grip on my left shoulder.

Guessing that's Ash's claws.

'Ash?'

No reply.

'Ash?...'

Still no reply.

I look at my left shoulder, Blanc, I look at my right shoulder nothing.

Wait did I say Blanc!?

Ash's Pov

I stopped mind linking to Talia purposely because Blanc was able to read the mind of the person he wants to.

I was still on her shoulder when he pinned her to the wall. I thought he loved her, so why hurt her?

"I'm not letting go until you fight back." He said in a firm but gentle voice.

"I thought you loved me?" She said trying to pull away.

That only made his grip on her become tighter that their chests touched.

"I do, but I want you to be able to defend yourself when I'm not with you, sweetheart." He said coming closer to where I was.

She stood there quietly without a movement, her bangs covering her eyes as her head settled on his chest.

Took quick glances at the both of them trying to figure out what is going to happen, that's when I noticed that her breaths were shallow and heavy , I leaned down, trying not to touch Blanc, to see her eyes.

They weren't the friendly look they always used to be, they were the eyes of a murderer, that kills with no mercy.

Her pupils were no longer there, they were slits, so thin that they do not exist.

She let out a harsh shaky breath before saying."Let...go..." She was fighting over the urge of staying calm, because her voice said it all.

To Blanc it seemed like a warning or a threat, because his eyes were wide for a moment.

I looked over at White... Or Jasper expecting him to be asleep. Turns out  he was awake ,eager to know what will happen. He also had this serious expression on his face.

I looked back at Talia... I mean princess Aria, I immediately took off her shoulder when I saw that look of murder in her eye.

The next ten seconds seemed to be a blur, but after those ten seconds Talia has already pinned Blanc to the floor with super long nails, only an inch from his eyes.

It seemed that Talia wasn't in there because I know that she would never try to kill anyone even if she hated them.

Pure fear was on Blanc's face.

Her teeth became sharper than a dagger. I looked at her and how she breathed harshly from her mouth.

I decided that I should probably try to talk to her to see if she can calm down so we can escape now.

I settled gently on her shoulder, before I knew it her ears faded, a long thick black tail appeared and fluffy black cat ears.

Usually all cat Vampires have a power boost depending on their kind, so for Blanc's case ginger, he has a speed boost, while for Jasper, he has a stealth boost, cats with grey have a strength boost.

Over furry cats have the upgraded boost so it's better than the nor fur cat.

So if Blanc in a furry ginger cat, he would have the speed of lightning so it's better than the normal fur cat.

But in Talia's case... I've never seen anything like it.

I've never seen a black furry cat. I heard that black cats are a rare catch, because they have all the boosts at once. But now that I think of it how will the boost go if a person got a black furry cat?

She would be extremely strong only in human form now.
