Chapter 16

Talia's Pov

"Okay..." I do my best to shift into a dragon but I still look like a child.

"How!?" Said Ash.

I was a white scaly dragon with what seemed like fur or feathers on my neck and the end of my tail, my wings were made of thick dragon skin and had a claw at each end. On my head was two horns that we're pretty large for such a tiny creature, I mean me my ears looked exactly like a bat's.

Okay I have to admit I look cute in both forms.

"Is something wrong in being white?" I ask, I want to know why was I white instead of red or black or whatever color the dragons were.

"No you being white is perfectly normal, well to royalty only so they will be able to tell if you are the princess by the color of your scales. Anyway let's start now since you can fly even if you look like a dragons child.
First we want your body to get used to it's new shape, the wings ,the tail, your ears and walking like a dragon on four feet-"

"Wait what's that got to do with me flying as a human?"

"If you learn how to fly as a dragon or a phoenix flying as a human being will be easy as pie, so first sit down and I'll tell you to move one of your body parts, and I want your eyes to be closed."

I did exactly what I was told and sat down, closing my eyes in the process.

"First, move your feet since you are going to walk a lot on them."

I moved them slowly only to notice that it wasn't that hard.

"Next move your tail since it's what keeps you balanced."

It took me a while, yes but within a minute I was moving it at all directions.

"Good, now move your ears , you'll need them when you try to sense your predators or prey."

I think of myself as a cat moving it's ears to listen to it's surroundings.

"Wow, what a fast learner you are. Last but not least your wings."

Okay gotta admit this part is hard.

As if he read my thoughts he held my wings and moved them in different directions.

Within 3 minutes I was able to flap them.

"Excellent Princess Aria, now we have a break because your breakfast has arrived, think yourself as a human and you'll be back to normal." He said with a smile I never seen on his face before.

I look around myself and see the feathers and scales around the room and panic. I push them to one corner of the room where it can't be seen.

A harsh knock was heard on the door.

I whisper to Ash."Hide!"

In comes a grumpy Jasper holding a tray  with a glass of milk and a fruit bowl filled with every fruit you can name.

Hope there's no kiwi in there because I totally don't want to throw up again.
