"MAMA."

-

The group arrived at an old, yet nice kept, house. Finn, Millie, and gaten sat in the back, Caleb and Sadie up front. They parked in the driveway of the old house, nobody moved as they just sat there in silence.

Millie squeezes Finns hand tightly, trying to calm him down. The whole way here, he's just been so antsy and worried, he was thinking that everything would go south and his parents didn't love him anymore. His deepest fear though, was leaving.

He took a deep breath before opening his door, being the first one to get out of the car, Millie followed behind him and the rest of the group followed along too.

Most of them were worried too, especially Caleb. He was thinking that if things didn't go the best ways imaginable, it would all be his fault. Deep down he knew he was the cause of all of this, his seven year old self was ignorant and stupid. Turning back time would be the most exotic gift in the world to him.

Finn steps onto the creaky porch, every step felt like another obstacle, it was so suspenseful.

He gulped as everyone stood behind him, patiently waiting for him to knock. The door was still the same, a small and silver door knock hung on the front, it had a tiger carved in it, the ring hanging from its teeth.

He breathed in sharply, lifting his hand up before grabbing the door knock, slowly lifting it before knocking.

He instantly pulled his sweaty hand away, dropping it to his side. Millie comfortingly put her arms around his one arm, hugging it.

Silence. No one answered.

They waited for what seemed like five minutes before Finn decided to knock again.

Knock knock.

Nothing. Purely dead silence, you could only hear the sound of birds chirping and the muffled sound of people mowing their lawns about three miles down the street.

"Maybe they went out to the store or something?" Gaten says, trying to assure Finn that it was okay. Caleb gulped as he held hands with Sadie, she was just as clueless as everyone else, she's just here to be with her boyfriend—as bad as that sounds.

Millie turned her head to look at the driveway, there was one car. It was an old beat up white car, one of the headlights were missing too.

Finn just stared at the door, his features slowly but surely faltering. His nightmare was coming true, so was Caleb's.

He clenched his jaw, not taking his eyes off the door for what seemed to be hours.

The group started to get worried, taking his silence as pure sadness and disappointment.

"Hey, it's okay! We can come back another day-" Gaten was cut off by Finn, he jerked his head his way with a tense glare.

"And do what?! They left me, they are not coming back." Finn practically bursts out, letting go of Millie's arm and just storming off the porch, his hands in his raven curls, frustratingly tugging at them.

He stands out in the front yard, just looking around helplessly. He puts his hands out, looking down at them confusedly. Everyone furrowed their eyebrows as they watched him, he was strangely just staring at his palms before he balled them into fists.

It was raining.

The drops seemed to pour harder and harder, ever droplet sharper than an ice spike.

Finn just stood in the front yard of his old home, his tears mixing in with the rain. No one could see him crying this way. He bit his bottom lip, turning to look back at the group on the porch.
