Second—it takes only a second
For the world to spin and hearts to reel.

Blink—it takes only a blink of an eye
For a tear to drop and a heart to drip.

Twinkle—it takes only a twinkle of a star
For smiles to beam and frowns to creep.

Heartbeat—it takes only a heartbeat
For a soul to get lost, and found.
