Your an artist?

We walk back to my room and I open the door and sit at my desk. I open my sketchbook and remember the notebook from my father. I go over to my flight suit and check the pockets where I find the small notebook. I open it and start reading my face must have shown shock because Poe touches my arm gently "Are you okay?" I nod "I know how to find my father." he grins "Really, where did you get that notebook?" I smile "I visited my old home and got some stuff from my old room." he grins and looks over at my desk "Hey what's that?" I shrug "My sketchbook." he walks over and picks it up flicking through the pages "You're an artist?" I smile "I guess" He pauses at one of the drawings "Whos this?" I laugh "Poe that's my cousin." he looks sheepish "Oh."

He pauses again "Is that me, when did you draw me?" I laugh and walk over still holding the leather notebook "Yesterday when you fell asleep." he nods and beams "Can I try and draw you?" I nod "Why not but use the back of the sketchbook." I hand him a pencil and sit down reading through the notebook. About half an hour passes then Poe hands me my sketchbook grinning. It is a messy pencil sketch that looks like a two-year-old drew but I think its really cute "That's really good Poe." I smile and tack the picture to my wall Poe grins "You like it?" I nod and kiss his nose "It's great Now let's go find Leia and tell about what I found." he nods and we both get up.

Poe grabs my hand and we walk down the corridor. I spot a small group of pilots and turn to Poe "Does anyone know about us?" he shakes his head "Only Leia, Heather and Ava oh and the droids." I smile "Do you want people to know?" I shrug "I don't mind." he nods and squeezes my hand "Alright." we continue walking and one of the piolets wolf whistles "Nice one Poe." he smiles and lets go of my hand wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "I know." One of the female piolets scowls and stalks of I smile slightly and put the notebook in my pocket. I lean on my head on his shoulder "Poe can we go?" he nods and says "Well see you around."  we walk off and I ignore the whispers behind us. Poe smiles "The whole base will know by tonight." I nod "Oh well everyone was bound to find out soon anyway."

We continue to walk and we find Leia sitting by herself in the communications room. I walk over "Are you alright?" she nods but I see tears on her face "What happened?" she shakes her head "It's not for you to worry about dear. How can I help?" I hand her the notebook "I know how to find Luke, but first please tell me what's wrong?" she smiles "I saw Ben yesterday, walking around the planet next door." I frown "What happened?" she frowns, "I asked him to come home but he just yelled and walked off." I frown and hug her "I'm sorry, but he chose the dark side only Luke can bring him back. You know I tried." she nods and I pull away "Lor San Tekka has a map to skywalker." she smiles slightly "That's great you and Poe should go see him." I smile "Yes but first I want to talk to Ben he's not fully dark and know there is light in him still." Leia stands up and grabs my shoulders "You don't have to do that." I smile "Yes I do, you've taken care of me my whole life I owe this to you." 

She smiles and nods "Alright but you can't meet him in person call him over the holo pad." I nod and turn to Poe who is stood in the doorway "I'm sorry I'll talk to you later but family drama." he laughs and hugs me "It's alright, you free tomorrow night?" I nod "If nothing comes up then yes." he grins "I'll pick you up at six." I smile and kiss his cheek "See you tomorrow." he nods and kisses me on the nose "Can I wait outside." I nod "Sure but I don't know how long I will be." he shrugs and kisses me again on the cheek "I don't mind." I turn around and Leia is smiling "What?" she shrugs "It's nice to see you happy and Poe is causing less trouble." I smile "Let's call Ben."
