Captured (Poe Dameron x reader)

Proposal

I pull on a jacket and walk with Ava to the hanger, Poe appears wearing black jeans and a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up halfway up his arms and a jacket over one shoulder. "Hey." I grin and kiss him gently "Where are we going?" he grins "It's a surprise." Ava smiles "Have fun." she disappears and Poe takes my hand gently pulling me towards his x-wing "We're going to the same restaurant we went to on our first date." 

I smile and follow him up the ladder sitting in his lap. He reaches around my waist turning on the engine and takes of jumping to light speed. We land and Poe jumps down before offering me a hand. I smile and take it "So why was Ava acting strangely?" he shrugs "I don't know sorry." I nod and follow him into the restaurant.

A waiter leads us to our table and Poe pulls my chair out for me and I smile "Thank you." he grins and kisses my cheek "Your welcome." he sits opposite me and smiles "I love you Y/N." I smile "I love you to Poe." We order food and wine and I notice that Poe keeps touching one of his pockets. "Are you okay?" he nods and smiles "Of course I'm with you." I smile at the cheesy line but blush slightly. Our food arrives and we start eating. "This is amazing." Poe nods and smiles but doesn't say anything. Once we have finished and our plates are cleared away Poe takes my hand gently across the table and takes a deep breath.

"Y/N, since the moment I met you I knew that I liked you and wanted to get to know you. When you agreed to go on a date with me it was the happiest I've ever been. When you were taken from me I didn't know what to do, I felt lost without you. I love you with all my heart and want to spend the rest of my life with you," I feel my eyes widen as he moves from his chair and gets down on one knee holding up a blue box containing a beautiful ring. "Y/N Skywalker will you marry me?" I put a hand to my mouth in shock and feel tears streaming down my face, I nod vigorously and he grins slipping the ring onto my finger. 

I tangle my fingers in his hair and kiss him hard "I love you Flyboy." he grins "I love you to Pixie." after several minutes we pull apart and he sits back down. "I take it that Ava knew?" he nods and smiles at the table "I think she has practically planned the whole wedding." I laugh and Poe stands "Would you like to go for a walk?" I nod and we stand. Poe pays and we walk outside along a path that leads around a lake with the moon reflected in its water. Poe takes my hand gently "I think that was the most nervous I've ever been, I wanted everything to be perfect" I smile and lean my head on his shoulder "You know I would have said yes were ever you asked me." he smiles and turns to face me kissing me lightly "I know Mrs Dameron." he grins "Should we head back or stay here longer?" 

Smiling I kiss his cheek "We should probably head back." he nods and we turn walking back towards the jet. He helps me up and starts the engine taking of and jumping to light speed. Poe lands and jumps down helping me out. I blush slightly and we walk hand in hand back into the base. Outside my door I find Heather standing there expectantly a huge smile on her face. "Show me, show me, show me." I roll my eyes and hold out my hand. She grabs it and squeals "I'm your maid of honor!" I laugh and smile "Of course." she nods and yawns "See you tomorrow for wedding planning!" 

She skips of to her room and I open my door pulling Poe inside. Shutting the door gently I turn to find Poe grinning. "What?" he shrugs and leans down kissing me gently "Just happy." I smile and kiss him back running my fingers through his hair. He turns and pushes me up against the door kissing down my neck...(I don't write smut)
