Captured (Poe Dameron x reader)

Wedding part 2

Everyone begins to enter the hanger and I hug my friends and Kes walks over grinning "Welcome to the family love." I smile "Thanks." Poe grins hugging his dad "I'm so proud of you son." he smiles and Ben walks over hugging me gently "So your no longer a Skywalker?" I shake my head "Nope but when you marry Rey you can continue on the name." he laughs "My last name is Solo." I shush him and laugh, Poe wraps an arm around my waist and grins "Hungry?" I nod "Starving."

We walk up to the main table and sit down. Luke, Leia, Finn, Ben, Heather, Ava and Kes are also sitting with us. Food is served and chatter fills the hanger. I smile and Poe runs a thumb over the back of my hand "I love you Mrs Dameron." I grin kissing his cheek "And I love you husband." he grins and I kiss him once more before turning back to the food watching everyone talking and smiling in the hanger. The food is amazing and it grows slightly quieter while everyone is engrossed in eating.

Once everyone has finished Ava stands and taps a fork against her glass"If I can have everyone's attention please. Hi I'm Ava, Y/N's maid of honor and best friend. I would just like to say a few words." I smile slightly and turn in my seat so I can see her better "I have known Y/N since we were twelve years old and only met Poe two years ago I think. And I can't think of any two people more suited to be together, I wish you both all the happiness in the galaxy and a long marriage full of love and laughter. I was going to share embarrassing stories but I've decided against it as long as I'm Godmother for your first child." 

A few people chuckle and I smile at her while she raises her glass "To Y/N and Poe Dameron." everyone else raises their glasses and Ava sits down. Leia stands next and smiles warmly " Y/N I have watched you grow into a strong beautiful young woman and I couldn't be prouder to have you as my niece. Poe you have your faults but you are loyal and you both make each other happy and that's all that really matters. I have one story that I will share and its when I realized that you loved Y/N. She went away on a two/three day mission and you spent the entire time sulking and pestering me at every moment to see if she was okay. When I told you that I didn't know and hadn't heard anything but to leave me alone and that she was going to back in a few days you disappeared"

Poe groans and I raise an eye brow at him. He shakes his head slightly and Leia smiles "I then had a very distressed pilot run into the room saying that there commander had got stuck in a control panel. Poe had attempted to hack into the computer system to see where Y/N had been sent as it was secret. I think it was that moment when I knew how much you cared about her you were ready to do anything to make sure she was safe." A few people laugh and Poe groans "It wasn't my proudest moment." I laugh "Is that how you got the bruise on your head?" he nods and I kiss his cheek "Your adorable." Finn also does a speech then Kes and finally Luke, although he doesn't say much like normal.
