Captured (Poe Dameron x reader)

Wedding part 1

"Okay how long do we have now?" Ava smiles "Half an hour." I nod and Heather smiles "Lets take some pictures." I stand and smile "Sounds fun." she nods and Ava flattens out her dress "I'll take them." Heather shakes her head "Oh no you don't. You have to be in them your the maid of honor." she sighs but complies and we take several pictures, laughing and smiling.

"Alright are you ready?" I nod and Heather hands me my bouquet "Lets go." I follow them out the room and Ava links her arm through mine "It's snowing slightly so the pictures are going to look amazing and you look radiant. Everything's perfect." I smile and squeeze her hand tightly "Thank you for everything Ava, I don't know how to repay you. Even though I am paying you but you know what I mean." she chuckles "Don't worry about it I've loved every second."

We reach the hanger doors and Luke smiles brightly "Wow, you look so beautiful. My little girl all grown up and getting married." I smile and hug him "You look handsome dad." he smiles "Are you ready?" I nod and loop my arm through his "Just don't let me fall." he nods and kisses my temple lightly "I've got you." Ava and Heather go first followed by the droids who look adorable.

"Alright it's time." I take a deep breath and squeeze his arm tightly "I'm ready." we walk outside and I smile brightly, everything looks beautiful. Snow is falling gently and everyone is standing watching as we walk down the isle, it looks like Ava's invited everyone who lives at the base. Any nerves I felt disappear the minute I see Poe. He is standing tall looking handsome as ever under a arch. there is a light dusting of snow in his hair and Finn stands next to him as his best man. I smile and dad squeezes my arm lightly kissing my cheek "I love you." I smile and take Poe's outstretched hand.

He pulls me close grinning "You look... whoa." I blush slightly and the man officiating the wedding smiles brightly "Will everyone please be seated and we'll begin. Friends and family we are here today to witness the joining of two souls. Now if you will repeat after me." Poe goes first slipping the ring onto my finger and I do the same probably smiling like an idiot the whole time, but I couldn't care less.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." I wrap my arms around Poe's neck and grin "I love you flyboy." he leans closer "I love you to Pixie." everyone cheers as he presses his lips against mine gently wrapping his arms around my waist. After a minute we pull apart and I kiss him quickly once more taking his hand in mine.

We walk back down the isle and I smile at Luke, Leia, Ben and Kes in the front row. There is also the glowing figures of Master Yoda, Master Kenobi and my grandfather. I smile brightly at them before following Poe into the hanger. All the lights have been turned on and their are tables dotted around with one long one along the far wall. "Well Mrs Dameron, I love you so much and I believe not seeing you for a week has only deepened that affection."

I roll my eyes slightly and kiss him gently "Well I love you too Mr Dameron." he grins and Ava and skips over dragging Heather "You too are adorable together." I smile and hug her "Everything looks so beautiful you really outdid yourself." she grins "Thank you." Luke and Leia walk over and I hug them both "I can't believe my little girl is all grown up and married." Leia grins admiring my ring "I wish you both a life time of happiness."
