Captured (Poe Dameron x reader)

Dinner

Your P/O/V:

We start walking back to Poe's and I lean my head on his shoulder "Thanks for showing me around." He nods "Of course." Poe un-locks the front door "After you my lady." I roll my eyes and kiss his cheek walking into the house Kes smiles "Are your back, excellent. I was just about to start dinner." Poe grins "Need a hand?" he shakes his head "I'll manage." 

The two of us walk into the lounge and sit on the sofa and I watch Kes move around the kitchen "Are you sure you don't want any help?" he smiles kindly "I'm fine, thank you." Poe wraps his arms around my waist "So what did you to get up to today?" Poe smiles "We just walked around the town. Bumped into Harry Carpt." I smile "It's lovely here."

Kes smiles "I saw his wife the other day. There expecting a baby any day now." I smile "That explains why he was in a rush to get home." Poe nods slightly and I lean into his side while he fiddles with a bit of my hair "I'm surprised you are not wedding planning. When I married Shara it seemed like we never had a spare minute." I smile "My best friend is planning the wedding."

Kes grins "That must be a relief." I shrug slightly smiling at Poe "Usually but sometimes she can be a bit much. She's very enthusiastic." Poe chuckles "You got that right." I kiss his cheek "At least she's not planning your bachelor party. I don't know what to expect for my hen night" he grins "True." 

"You know how I said I didn't need any help." Poe chuckles and stands "What do you need?" he walks into the kitchen and I walk to the door "Can I help at all?" Kes shakes his head "No, you just relax." Poe winks at me "I am a man of many talents." I roll my eyes slightly and laugh sitting back on the sofa. "So Y/N how long have you been with the resistance?" I smile "Since I was twelve. My Aunt raised me and I became a pilot and mechanic." Kes smiles "Are you looking forward to your wedding?" I nod smiling brightly and Poe grins "I certainly am." Kes laughs patting him on the back "I should hope so to, my wedding day was probably the best day of my life. Anyway dinner's ready."

I walk over and sit next to Poe "Thank you." They both grin and say "Your welcome." we start eating and I grin "This is really good." Kes smiles "It was Poe's favorite when he was little." I smile and Poe grins "Still is." Kes laughs "Well I'm glad you both like it." We finish eating and I start tiding away the plates "What are you doing?" I smile "You both cooked so I'm washing up." Poe shakes his head taking the plates off me "Nope, your the guest so you don't have to do anything." Kes smiles "Always the gentleman." Poe grins "Well I learned from the best."

I sit back down and Poe disappears in to the kitchen and reappears with a cake. Kes grins "How did you find that?" Poe smiles proudly "I can sniff cake out a mile away." I laugh and Kes rolls his eyes "Is that why all my biscuits kept going missing?" Poe pales "You knew about those?" Kes laughs "You weren't very subtle." We eat the cake and I yawn and Poe smiles "Do you want to go to bed?" I nod and stand kissing his cheek "Good night. Thanks for dinner."
