Convincing Luke

The next morning I wake up with a blanket thrown over my shoulders I smile and stand, the sun has just started to rise and Chewie is snoring loudly. I stand and walk around the coastline of the island. I spot an old tree and walk towards it feeling drawn to it. I see an opening and walk inside to see a small shelf of books. I grin and pick one up turning the pages gently. The last time I saw these they were in a locked cabinet and Luke forbid me to touch them. 

I smile reading the pages that have been passed down from Jedi to Jedi "Always reading." I close the book and place it back before turning around quickly "I didn't touch anything." my father smiles and leans on the wall "It's alright your old enough to know what you're doing." I smile and glance at the books "Why did you leave?" his eyes flash with sorrow and he sighs "Ben was turning to the dark side, I sent you away to protect you, he thought I was going to kill him and burned everything killed everyone." I nod and walk over slowly wrapping my arms around his waist "It's not your fault, but you do need to come back to the base."

He sighs "Why?" I smile "There still good in Ben and your family." he nods "I can't face Leia and Han not after what happened." I smile "Leia forgives you for what happened, she doesn't blame you. She just wants her brother back and I just want my father." he nods "What about Han?" I frown "He... he's no longer with us." Luke nods and frowns again "You take the books and I'll find your freind." I grin and he walks out. I grab the books and start walking back towards the falcon. Placing them in a draw I turn to Chewie who has got a Porg on each shoulder. I smile and my communicator beeps I take it out and a hologram of Poe appears.

"How's it going?" I smile "Geat actually, it didn't take much to convince him." he nods "You sound surprised." I nod "I am." he grins "At least you'll be home sooner." I smile and nod "See you soon." the connection cuts off and I turn to see Luke with a raised eyebrow "And who might that be?" I smile "Just a friend." he nods and Rey appears grinning "I don't think the natives like me." I smile and Chewie shuts the main door several porgs are flying around and land around the jet. I sit at the main table and Rey sits next to me Luke opposite us. 

"So you're both with the resistance?" I nod and Rey smiles "Well I only just joined." he nods "Y/N what have you been doing?" I smile "I'm a piolet and mechanic." he nods "You enjoy life there?" I nod and Rey stands "I'm going to help Chewie fly." I nod and she walks off leaving my father and I staring at each other, he clears his throat "Have you been sticking to the code?" I shrug "For the most part." he nods but doesn't ask any further questions BB-4 rolls forward and I smile "Father this is my droid BB-4." he smiles "Nice to meet you." she beeps happily and I smile Luke nods "Yes I think you're cute." Luke smiles and leans back against the wall and closing his eyes. BB-4 beeps happily and rolls off.
