POV: RIVER

It had been already been less than 30 minutes since Bryant left the room and I was bored out of my mind.

I had already gotten up twice to check if the door was actually was going go be locked like he said it was going to be and I realized it the second time I tried pulling the door open.

I sat on his bed now with my bad leg stretched out since it hurt to bend my knee too much.

I decided to start looking around his room first starting with around his bed.

I rolled over to the dresser closet to my side. There was only a picture frame and a round clock. There was nothing else on the rest of the shelves.

I crawled over to his side of the bed and found yet again another picture of him and what had looked to look like close up shots of his parents.

I could tell it was his parents since his Dad looked exactly like him but even more mysterious and quiet. The woman beside him had medium hair and those same same chocolate brown eyes Bryant had when I looked into them earlier. She had a grinning smile.

I analyzed it, probably had been taken within the last couple of years.

I looked down another shelf to find a small black box. I took it from the shelf and took the lid off to see 5 Golden wrapped condoms.

I quickly placed the lid back on and put it back on the shelf exactly where I found it.

I wonder if that was his own private stash for his other girls.

I lastly found a black watch that I assumed read the current time.

I laid the watch down on the side table and turned to face the other direction

I moved my body downward on the bed and laid my head back on one of the plush white pillows. I curled my legs up to abdomen and placed my my right hand under my cheek while my left laid flimsy by my side

Laying there in the dead silence led my mind to wander if Cass knew I was gone. I'm assuming she did, since her and I had always had been close friends growing up she had to have noticed I didn't come home last night.

I needed to call her.

I woke up panicked and In a cold sweat.

I immediately sat up to see a girl sitting in front of me with a pair of crystal blue eyes staring at me.

I jumped. "Jesus Christ."

She seemed taken off guard as she jumped also.

"You're awake!" She exclaimed in a cheery voice.

I looked at her with a cocked eyebrow.

"How long were you staring at me."

"Oh I only just came in here, Alpha Bryant wanted me to check on you and make sure you were ready for dinner this evening." She said running her hands through the bottom of her caramel hair.
