You were sitting in the Parlor drinking tea, Nadia was supposed to meet you there but she hadn't arrived yet. You understood that she was a busy woman, being the countess and all. A few more minutes had passed and the door opened. Nadia walked in with Portia following behind her. Portia had a try of snacks and some more tea. Nadia sat across from you.
"I Apologize for being so late, I had a few things to take care of." She smiled at you and took a sip of her tea.
"I understand, I don't mind waiting." You took a sip of your tea.
"Y/n, I was wondering If you would like to accompany me to the masquerade?" Nadia was asking you to go to the masquerade with her and you could not be happier. You love Nadia but you've never told her.
"Yes, I'll go with you!" You said, maybe a little too excited. She smiled and laughed a little.
"That's what I was hoping you would say." This was like a dream come true.
