You were out on a walk, trying to clear your head. You were In the forest when you had stumbled upon a creek. You walked closer to it, and you noticed Inanna, Muriel's wolf. You walked closer to the dog and then stopped when you saw Muriel sitting by the creek. You walked a little closer until Inanna told Muriel someone was nearby. Muriel looked up and saw you.
"Hey Muriel, What are you doing out here?" You asked as you walked closer. Inanna walked up to you with her tail wagging, you reached down and petted her for a moment.
"I was out on a walk." was all he said. He then looked away from you.
"Do you mind if I sit with you?" He didn't speak, but he nodded, Indicating he was okay with you sitting down. You sat down next to Muriel and Inanna sat down on the other side of Muriel.
"It's really nice out here, I love the forest." You said. Muriel looked at you and smiled slightly but not enough that you could tell.
"I love the forest too, It's nice, it's a good place to be alone." Muriel said. You and Muriel talked for a few hours while sitting by the creek. You and Muriel get along but you've always had a feeling that he doesn't like you.
This has been the most Muriel has opened up to you and talked to you. A few more hours go by.
"Wow, it's getting late." Muriel says as he stands up. You stand up as well.
"You know, I've had a lot of fun talking to you Muriel." You said as you smiled up at him, you could barley see a smile on his face. You had a strong urge to hug him, so you did. You gave Muriel a hug, he seemed startled but after a few seconds he hugged you back. Soon you two pulled away from the hug.
"I'll see you soon." you said as you backed away a bit.
"Uh yeah, I'll see ya round' Y/n." He said. He turned to walk away with Inanna following behind him.
