Summary- You fall asleep and wake up in the Arcana
RequestedYou walked to your room with your phone in hand ready to open the app and get your daily spin and maybe play some heart hunters and someone's route.
You got to your room and turned off the lights and plopped down on your bed. You started playing heart hunters, you failed to get anything 2 out of 3 times. You pulled up your favorite route and started reading. This was it, this was your plan for the whole night.
It had started to get late, you looked at your clock and it read 2:45pm. But that didn't stop you from continuing, but you were really tired and could barley keep your eyes open. Before you know it you passed out.
You were sent into a dreamless sleep, it didn't seem like you were asleep for long before you woke up.
You woke up to the sun shining in your room, which was odd because you were sure the curtains were shut when you went to bed last night. Either way you sat up and looked around the room.
"What the heck?" You quietly questioned your surroundings. You were definitely not in your room, but you were somewhere familiar. You recognized the room, but it couldn't be real. You were in the room above the shop in the Arcana.
"This isn't right." You said to yourself. You got out of the bed and looked at yourself. You weren't wearing any of your normal clothes so you went to the closet and got some out and put them on. surprisingly they all fit you.
You walked down the stairs to investigate. When you got down to the bottom of the stairs you called out to see if anyone was there.
"Hello? Anyone here?" You said as you walked into the main room of the shop. No one was there. You decided to take your time and look around. The shop was much different in person, it was cool to be able to look around and touch things instead of being on the otherside of a screen. You were looking at the objects on the shelves when something touched your shoulder.
"Friend!" You turned to look and see what was there. Turns out it was faust.
"Oh hello, aren't you cute!" You said while petting her. Faust just sat there on your shoulder.
"So where is everyone?" You asked her. She didn't answer. Well that just means you have to go out and look. Maybe Asra would know why you are here. You saw a bag laying on the counter top and you went and grabbed it. You looked inside and there was a deck of card. Tarot cards to be exact, there was also some money. You guessed this was your bag and put it on.
You made your way to the door and opened it. It was sunny out and warm. You stepped outside and closed the door. Faust was still chilling on your shoulder.
You started walking trying to find your way around Vesuvia. It is a lot more difficult than you thought it would be. You just needed to make your way to the palace and maybe you'd find someone there.
Soon you found your way into the market place, you sort of knew your way around but not really. All you really knew was that there was a baker around here that should know you. You walked around looking for the bakery until you found it.
"Y/n! Welcome back. What can I get for you today?" The baker asked. You walked up to the counter.
"I actually need directions to the palace. Do you know how to get there?" The baker laughed.
"Very funny. You go there all the time you should know the way by now." You just stood there not knowing what to do. You were confused. The baker noticed this.
"Oh... you're serious? Um yeah I can tell you how to get there." The baker proceeded to tell you how to get to the palace. You thanked him and started to make your way towards the palace.
After walking for a few minutes you could see it coming into view. Then you got up to the gates. It was a lot closer than you expected.
There were two guards posted at the gate, when they saw you they opened them for you to be able to go in. You walked up to the palace and went in. The place was massive. So many hallways and doors, you had no idea where to go. That is until Portia arrived.
"Y/n! Finally you've arrived. We thought you weren't going to make it." She said with a sweet smile. You gave her a confused look.
"Um what am I late for?" You asked. She grabbed your hand and started pulling you down the hall.
"For tea. Remember? Nadia invited everyone for tea." You were being pulled dow the hall by Portia when you stopped in front to a door. She opened the door and you were standing in the parlor. Everyone was sitting down with their tea. They all turned and looked at you.
"Y/n, glad you could make it." Nadia said. You smiled at her and went to sit down. Asra looked at you as you sat down. Like they could tell something was off. Everyone was talking, having their own conversations. You leaned over to talk to Asra.
"Hey um I know this is going to sound a little weird but do you know what happened?" You asked Asra.
"What do you mean?" Asra asked.
"Well I don't think I'm supposed to be here. I went to bed and I woke up in the shop. I'm not from here." You explained.
"Oh well that is quite odd, but I wouldn't worry about it. We'll figure it out and get you back home okay? It just might take a while." Asra smiled at you. You smiled back.
"Thank you." You said. Asra nodded.
Maybe this isn't the worst place to be stuck.
