🌲 Muriel X Reader

       You walked through the forest taking your time to look around at the scenery, every so often stopping to pick a few flowers and put them in your basket. You were scouting out a good place for a picnic while on your way to Muriel's hut. You still hadn't found a good place but that was a problem that could be dealt with later. You were approaching his hut.

       You got to the door and knocked three times, then Muriel opened the door.

       "Hello!" You said when you saw him. He let you inside, when you got inside he gave you a hug and while he did so you took the opportunity to sneak a kiss. He stood up with his cheeks now red.

       "Hello." He replied. You reached down into your basket and pulled out an array of flowers you found on your way here. You handed them to Muriel.

       "These are for you." He looks at you confused, before he takes them.

       "Thanks," He mumbled.

        "You're welcome. I thought they'd look good in your hut." You said with a smile. Muriel put the flowers in water. You stood there looking at him with your basket in hand.

       "So, are you ready to go?" He looked at you confused.

       "Where are we going?" He asked. You laughed.

       "I'm taking you on a picnic silly." You said as you held up your basket. This made Muriel give you a small barley noticeable smile. You walked up to him and grabbed his hand.

       "Well let's go then." You two then headed out if the hut.

       "So where are we having this picnic?" Muriel asked. You stopped walking for a minute.

       "Ummm... I havent got that far yet but I'm sure we'll find a good place." You gave him a smile. He chuckled.

       "Well I know this forest pretty well I'm sure I can find us a spot?" He said, asking if he could take you somewhere. You smiled and nodded.

        "Lead the way." Muriel then started to take you deeper into the forest. Then you two arrived at a clearing in the forest next to a small pond.

       "Is this good?" He asked. You nodded and took a blanked out of your basket and layed it down. You then sat down with Muriel following shortly after. You started to take out some food from the basket, you made sure to pack Muriel's favorite foods. You pulled put smoked eel and put it in front of Muriel then you pulled out some F/f for yourself.

       You looked up at Muriel and he actually looked happy. He was smiling. You sat there admiring him for a moment.

       "I love your smile." You said out of nowhere. He looked at you wide eyed, he wasn't expecting you to say that, his cheeks went red.

       "So... do you like it?" You asked. He nodded.

        "Yes I do. This is amazing. Thank you Y/n." You leaned over to reach him and kissed him on the cheek.

       "I'm glad you like it. It's nice to see you happy." You smiled at him.

       "Well, I'm happy anytime I get to see you." He smiled back at you. You two then enjoyed the rest of the day by the pond with your picnic.

       It was starting to get dark so you both decided to head back. You then got to his hut. You were about to head to the shop when he grabbed your arm.

       "Wait... um do you wanna stay here for the night... I mean it's getting dark." You chuckled.

        "I would love to." Then you both walked into the hut for the night.
