You had just finished putting on your outfit for the masquerade when you heard a knock at the door, you set your mask down and went to answer the door. When you opened the door Portia was standing there.
"Hey Y/n!" She said with a smile on her face.
"Hello Portia, what can I do for you?" You asked, you weren't expecting anyone to show up any time soon.
"Oh well I'm actually here to check on you and make sure you're almost ready for the masquerade." She said. You smiled a bit.
"Yeah I'm almost ready just give me a few more minutes." With that she nodded and walked away. You closed the door and went to go double check your outfit and hair. You grabbed your mask and put it on and started ti head for the door. You opened the door and saw Lucio standing right there, it kind of startled you. You weren't expecting Lucio to show up at your room, when you saw him you took a step back.
"Lucio, you startled me! I wasnt expecting you to be here." You said. He smiled at you.
"Hello to you too. I was just making sure you were coming cause I didn't see you anywhere." He said while rubbing the back of his neck. You laughed a bit at this.
"Looking for me were you? Were you worried?" You asked. He looked down at the floor and his face was slightly red.
"Uh... well I didn't want you to miss out on any of the fun, thought that would be a shame." He said while looking up.
"So you were worried. It's okay, I wouldn't miss the party. I'm sure you and Nadia have planned some amazing things." You said with a smile, he smiled back at you.
"Actually we have." He said proudly.
"I wouldn't expect anything less from you two." You smiled again. You walked out of the room and into the hallway where Lucio was. You closed the door behind you.
"So have you already been round the palace to all the cool rooms?" You asked him. He smiled and nodded.
"Which one was your favorite? I might have to start there." You said, his face went red again.
"Uh my favorite? Oh! Um I can show you if you'd like?" You nodded and he grabbed your hand pulling you down the hallway. You two were running down the halls and downstairs until you stopped in front of a closed door. You looked over at Lucio and he opened the door.
You looked inside the room and there was no one in there, which was surprising because most of the rooms were packed. You walked in and the walls were dark blue with stars, some of the stars were actually lights that lit up the room just enough so you could see. Most of the room was empty, it looked as if it was supposed to be another ballroom but it was too small for that. There were a few tables low to the ground with pillows as seats, on each table was a bouquet of flowers.
"Wow. This is beautiful." You said out loud. Lucio walked up next to you.
"I know, it's my favorite room." You looked over at him and he was smiling. You didn't notice there was music playing.
"Why is there no one in here?" You questioned. He looked at you slightly blushing.
"Well I.. um... Y/n will you dance with me?" He stuttered a bit.
"Yes, of course I'll dance with you." He smiled when you said this. Then you two started dancing to the music that was playing. It was nice, you didn't expect him to ask you that. You were also starting to wonder if that's why the room was empty? Soon the song came to a stop but he still had one hand on your hip. You looked at him and he seemed happy with himself, the next thing you know he starts leaning in to kiss you, and you do the same.
"Hey, Y/n. I've been looking all over for you." You hear someone say from the door. You pulled away from Lucio and it turns out it was Asra.
"What?" You asked.
"I need you to come to the court yard in a few minutes." Asra said. You nodded your head and they left. You looked back to Lucio who stood there with a sad look on his face. You leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you. I had fun." You said, you could see him smiling. You then walked out and went to meet Asra at the court yard.
