Hey my name is Julianna Grace Leblanc and I'm 16 years old. My best friends usually just call me Annie, Ann's, Jules, or Julie. My home town is Riverview, Oregon. It's a pretty small town. Nothing really happens here. There's a two small grocery stores on both sides of town, it's called Richards and my friends and I like to go there before it closes and get tons of snacks before sleepovers. I don't have that many friends because I have really bad trust issues so I just keep a smaller friend group. I'm pretty popular and I wish I wasn't most of the time but what can I say I'm the captain of the cheer team so of course I'm gonna be popular. My best friends are Mackenzie Ziegler, but we just call her Kenzie, Lilia Buckingham, Anna Cathcart, Lauren Orlando, and Jayden Bartels. We are all on the cheer team. We have been since as long as we could remember in elementary school. The elementary, middle, and high school is on the same street so I usually have to pick up my little sister, Hayley who is 13 years old, from school after cheer practice.
Tonight is the football game against our rival team that is a half hour away, the Eldridge the eagles, our school is the Riverview Catfish. Yeah I know it sounds so stupid but what can I say I have no say in the mascot. In Oregon it's really Foggy and rainy and there's a chance of rain tonight so I don't know if the games going to be canceled or not. All of the football players are douche bags..they are literally so immature and they think since they are football players, they can get away with anything and can get any girl. But I make sure they will never be near me. I can't stand them. They are all f boys and I really don't want to get played. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I wake up to my annoying alarm clock and it's 6:45 am. I swear school needs to be later because I hate waking up so early to get ready. I roll out of bed and get in he shower to wake myself. I put some makeup on but just a natural look because I really don't want to impress anyone today and I'm too tired anyways. I go over to my closet and find a cute outfit. I grab a black and white striped cropped t-shirt, ripped jeans, my adidas, my purse, and I end up taking a jacket just incase I get cold. My outfit⬇️

I start to walk down stairs but I'm stopped by my 13 year old sister Hayley. I try and get through because if I don't leave in 5 minutes, I'm going to be late. "What do you possibly want?!?!" I asked annoyed. She just gave me a glare and said, "well mom said you are taking me to school today!" I just roll my eyes and start to walk away to start my car. It's pretty cold outside this morning and I put my light jacket on that I brought with me. Hayley goes into the the passenger seat and starts to put music on. "What even are you listening to?!?!" I asked. "You seriously never have listened to this? It's amazing! It's Boomerang by Jojo Siwa!" she said happily. "This is literally for 9 year olds.." I said annoyed. "Well I don't care! I like it and so does everyone else at school!" She said while we pull up to the middle school. "Bye Ann's" she says while slamming my car door and running up to her friends.
I park in my parking spot and grab my stuff and start walking to my locker. Thankfully it's right next to Kenzie's because last year mine was next Carson Lueders and he was so annoying and there was always the football team near mine and I could barley get to my locker. I start walking down the halls and see people staring at me. I hate when people stare. I feel like they are judging me for being so "popular." I finally get to my locker and I don't see Kenzie. That's weird because she's always there before me but I just shrug it off and grab my books. I start heading to homeroom when I pass by the bathroom and I hear Kenzie's voice. So I start to walk in but I see her making out with one of the football players. I think his name was Hayden. Idk I don't really care either. She ends up seeing me and I walk away quickly to homeroom.
I thought about our rule that that we had with each other since 7th grade. I even still have it in one of my journals deep down in my closet. But anyways we all wrote that we would never date or do anything with a football player since they will break your heart. All of my best friends signed it and we agreed that we would never break the promise. I make it to homeroom and sit next to Lauren since she's the only one in my friend group that's in homeroom besides kenz but she's busy with that Hayden boy. I've been spacing out a lot lately and I don't even know why to be honest. I hear Lauren calling my name and getting me out of my daze.
"ANNIE!" I hear and turn to Lauren. "Oh sorry it happened again.." I said quietly.
"No biggie! But we should get it checked out just incase something is wrong..." she says worried.
Kenzie showed up to homeroom about 10 minutes late. I was shocked because she has never been late to a class ever. I watch her give an excuse to the teacher and walk over to where me and Laur are.
"Hey sorry about that.." kenz said quietly while the teacher was doing roll call. The bell finally rung to go to first period and we went off. I was trying to text my mom to grab my cheer outfit because I forgot it at home and I need it for practice today and I end up bumping into someone and falling. I quickly get up and grab my things and start helping the other person.
"Hey uh sorry about that" I said. He just looked at me with a smirk and I rolled my eyes. He is the captain of the football team and is number #32 which is the one and only Asher Angel. He goes from girl to girl and I really don't get it. Like why would you want to do that while you can just settle down with one girlfriend or not have one at all. I hear my name getting called and quickly look back at him.
"Yo Julianna! Yo what are you staring at?!?!" Asher says.
"Oh sorry" I said quietly. I felt very uncomfortable because I didn't want to talk to this dude at all because I don't know if he could try something on me and the. I hear my name getting called again.
"LeBlanc? Are you okay? Do I need to take you to a nurse?! You keep staring." I hear him say.
