💿Chapter 4💿

I check my phone to see who has texted me and I answered a couple of my texts. The only ones coming out of my from my friend group is Anna and Lauren. Everyone else is busy. I look up and see Hayley walking back to the room with London and Asher.
"Hey are you okay?" London says walking over to me.
"Yeah it's just I broke my leg." I replied back to her tearing up trying not to cry. I see hayley and London coming over to hug me. I hug back. They go and sit at the chairs on the side of the room. Asher gets out of the doorway and stands next to me.
"So we won the game." He says breaking the silence.
"Yeah, what was the score?" I asked being polite.
"42-38" he says showing off his dimply smile. My heart started to melt and my cheeks started to turn red. I quickly look away as soon as I get a text. Saved by the ding. (Omg ew instead of Saved by the bell, I said saved my the ding..yeah you get it..) I open the text and see it's from Lauren. She will be here soon with Anna. Thank god. I don't want to be stuck in this room with Asher any longer. The girls went to the cafeteria to get a snack.
"So..." I hear Asher say.
"What?" I reply back.
"What happened during practice and why are you even here?" He asks trying to make conversation.
"Well I was going in the air and Jayden, Kenzie, Anna, Lauren and Lilia, were suppose to catch me..."I say while getting irrupted.
"So basically your whole friend group?" He asks pulling a chair next to my bed.
"Yeah. Well anyways Jayden said a wasp landed on her nose and she started freaking out. So when I was about to get caught, she jumped away leaving me falling on the ground and breaking me leg." I said annoyed.
"Oh I'm sorry about that Julianna." He says looking concerned but we all know he's faking it. There's no way he would ever feel concerned about me.
"Well you can call me annie if you would like. Most people think saying Julianna  is too long." I say.
"Well I don't think it's long.." he says acting more interested. As soon as he said that Lauren and Anna run in and give me a big hug.
"AHHHH I MISSED YOU SO MUCH JULIE!!" Anna squeals out.
"WHAT SHE SAID" Lauren screams out.
"Guys calm down I've been gone for 3 hours not years." I say rolling my eyes. I hear Asher laughing and I try and see what he's laughing at.
"What's up with you?" I ask him.
"N-nothing.." he says trying not to laugh.
"Come on show me!!" I say.
"Fine..." he says while turning his head..my sister just did me dirty like that..I wow..she's really gonna get it once my leg is better. He literally has the video of me fighting a chair.. as soon as he turns his phone back around to laugh at me hayley walks in. I just glare at her.
"What's your problem sissy?"she says laughing.
"You little" I didn't get to finish because the doctor came in and put my brace on and gave me the crutches so I can go back home. I walked to the elevator and everyone was on it. Lauren and Anna decided to go to their house and Asher would drive us back to my house. London and Hayley were going to have a sleepover and Asher was gonna sleep on the couch just incase anything happens. I still don't even like the kid. I heard that he literally slept with Peyton Elizabeth last night, and Kenzie's friend Nadia the other night.
We arrive at Ashers car and being the "gentleman" Asher was, he opened the door and helped me get in the car. My house was about a half hour away and I ended up falling asleep. I woke up to Asher carrying me into my house and laying me down onto my bed. I didn't mind because I was too tired to use my crutches. He takes my shoes off and puts a blanket on me. Next thing I know he kisses me on my forehead and says goodnight and walks away. I couldn't fall back asleep now.
It's been 2 hours since he helped me get into bed and I can't stop thinking about it. I really hope I'm not falling for him because it will ruin the girl code. I get up hopping on one foot and tryin to see if Asher is asleep on the couch like he said or if he went home. I see that he's curled up in a blanket on his phone. He looks pretty cute just laying there. Annie! Snap out of it. Of course when I go and hop back to my room, the floor creaks and he gets up to see what it was.
"Annie? What are you doing up?" He asks looking concerned.
"Oh I just had a bad dream and I needed a drink." I said lying.
"Well why didn't you just ask me?" He says smiling.
"Well I mean I thought you would be asleep.." I say quietly. He just shook his head and gestured me to get on his back.
"You're funny Asher Angel..i weigh a ton." I say shaking my head no.
"No you don't..you weigh lighter then London you are a twig." He says crouching down so I can get on his back.
"How do you know i don't weigh that much?" I ask clearly knowing why but I pretend like I don't.
"Oh well I carried you in" he says.
"Oh really? Well thanks." I say getting on his back.
We went down the steps into the living room and he placed me on the couch. He went into the kitchen and I could hear him going in the fridge.
"You know you don't have to do this.." I say whisper shouting. There wasn't any response and he came back with two waters and he sat right next to me.
"Tell me something about you?" He says looking right at me.
"Well my name is Julianna LeBlanc and I'm the Captain of the Cheer team.." I say.
"Well I already know that dummy..tell me your favorite colors, favorite foods, your birthday, your middle name, literally anything.."he says taking a drink of the water.
"Don't call me dummy and  my favorite color is blue, my food is any type of chicken, I like Chex mix and gold fish too, and my birthday is December 5th, and my middle name is Grace." I say kinda shy.
"Ann's you don't need yo be shy around me." He says confidently.
"Well what about you?"I ask.
"Well my favorite color is blue also, my favorite food is hot wings, my birthday is September 6th, and my middle name is dov." He says looking right into my eyes.
"Your middle name is unique I like it" I say. But as soon as I say that my mom comes busting through the door drunk. No one except my friends know how she was and for Asher Angel to find out, he will just tell the whole school. I hear her throwing her shoes across the room and stumbling across the floor trying to get up to her room when she sees Asher.
"WHO THE FUCK IS THAT PUNK DOING IN MY LIVING ROOM!" She screams. I quickly got up hopping and started to help her up the stairs. Asher tried getting up but I mouthed no.
"There's no one there mom, it's just a dream, let's go back to bed." I said annoyed gesturing her to her room. I hated seeing her like this and I really didn't want anyone else to know she was like this. Once I got her into bed I sat on the stairs and went down like a little kid. Asher just laughed at me as I  hopped towards the couch again. I felt tears trickling down my cheeks as Asher rubbed my back.
*the next day*
I woke up in Ashers arms on the couch. I see my mom just staring at us. She clearly has already been drinking and it was only 7:30 am.
"What are you doing?" She asks. After hearing her say that I get out of Ashers grip and he wakes up.
"And what happened to your leg?" She asks.
"Nothing." I say quietly not even looking at her.
"Something clearly happened...was it this boy?!?! she says raising her voice.
"NO! He didn't do anything!" I say raising my voice a little just to prove my point.
"DON'T YOU EVER RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME AGAIN JULIANNA!" She screams. I just roll my eyes. She sees and walks over to me and slaps me. She has never slapped me before. I just sat there clutching my hand.
"What is even your problem?" I hear Asher say to her.
"BOTH OF YOU!" She screams.
"But we didn't even do anything.." Asher says.
"Asher just save it she doesn't even care.." I say getting up.
"Well somebody is gonna have to tell me what happens to your leg." She says putting her hands on her hips and taking a sip of her vodka.
"maybe you would know if you weren't at the bar getting getting drunk and would have picked up the phone when the hospital called you." I muttered.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!" She screams.
"Nothing" I said and I got up, put my phone in my pocket, and grabbed my crutches. Asher followed behind me and helped me out of the house. We went to his car and I got in. I just started to cry.
