💿Chapter 5💿

I let all my tears out, Asher had his arms around me while I sobbed in his chest. I couldn't stop. All the anger and pain I've been keeping inside finally came out and to someone I barely even know. After what felt like hours of crying. I let go of Asher. His shirt was drenched in my tears.
"A-a-Asher I'm s-sorry about your s-s-shirt." I say. He looks over at me for a second and starts the car. We have been in my driveway this whole time. He starts his car and started to drive.
"It's okay. We all have our days." He says trying to be kind. I'm still a little confused why I would let it all out at him though. Asher Dov Angel. The fuck boy. He has slept with almost every girl in school...We drove to a gas station and he got out to full his gas tank up. He peeps his head through the window and I can't help but laugh.
"Do you want anything in there when I go pay?" He asks.
"No." I say immediately.  Was starving but I didn't want him to why me anything. He doesn't need to waste his money on me.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Positive." I say while smiling at him. He smiled back with his dimples popping out. Omg I think I'm developing a small crush on him. I'll have to text kenz. He comes out of the gas station with 3 bags filled with junk.
"Asher?" I said confused.
"I didn't know what you would want so I got a little bit of everything and there's no way you can't be starving." He says getting in the car and driving away. We drove for a couple miles and it was pretty quite. I look over at him and he concentrated on the road. I turn on his radio and connect my phone to the Bluetooth. I put on "let me down slowly" by Alec Benjamin on. He's one of my favorite singers. I turn it up a little so I could sing along and so he couldn't hear me. When the chorus came he started singing with me.
"You know this?" I ask.
"Yeah Alec is my favorite!" He says looking over at me and smiling. Those dimples are gonna be the death of me. I can't get over them. I see that he's still smiling and I poke my finger at his cheek.
"What was that for?" He asks laughing.
"Nothing.." I say laughing. We turn into a road going in the woods.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"You'll see soon." He says putting his right arm on my leg. My cheeks turned bright red. I tried looking out the window so he wouldn't noticed. We have been on this road for about 10 minutes and then finally I see a cabin and a lake.
"ASHER! It's so pretty here!!" I squeal out.
"Hey calm down Ann's" he says while parking.
"I've always wanted to go to a cabin. They look so cool!" I say while Asher helps me out of the car with bags of snacks in his hands.
"Why are we here exactly?" I ask while gripping onto my crutches. He doesn't answer me and he gestures me to follow him. We go over to where the lake is and Asher put all the snacks down and helps me sit down. He sits down right next to me and starts opening the bags and showing me what he got.
"So what do you want?" He asks me while opening a red Gatorade up.
"Well I kinda want a red Gatorade too and some goldfish..." I ask shyly.
"Ann's what did I say about being shy around me?" He says looking right into my eyes. I could feel my cheeks warming up and I try and look away but he sees it.
"Is the Julianna Grace LeBlanc blushing?" He says smiling showing of his dimples once more. I really love them and those green eyes sparkling in the sunlight. Uhhhh I love him so much. Wait bitch calm down you literally just met him yesterday and you still think he's a player and a fuck boy. I can't let him know that I like him like that yet. #1 that's just embarrassing and #2 it will break the girl code and I doubt the girls will even approve.
"So Ann's, how are you feeling? I mean like after everything that just happened.." he says looking upset.
"Oh..yeah....well I'm doing just fine. You don't need to worry about me." I say looking at the lake. It looks beautiful. Those fluffy clouds hovering in the sky, the clear blue water, the soft sand. I would live here if I could.
"Annie, it's my job to take care and watch over you." He says. I was so confused what he meant by that I just looked at him with a puzzled face while popping a goldfish into my mouth.
"What do you mean Ash?" I say.
"Well we'll talk about that another time. okay?" He says really fast. This kid is weird. But anyway I grab another goldfish and I see I have a bunch of texts and missed calls from my friends, hayley, and the doctor. I open the text to see that I go and get my cast on Monday and that I should keep the brace just incase it's not fully healed after the 6 weeks.
I open the text from my friends and most of them were "sorry I couldn't make it to the hospital blah blah blah." I'm getting pretty tired of them. Like it seems like if I ever need something they will come up with an excuse but if they need something I'm always there for them. I don't know I can't lose them because they are the only thing I live for other than Hayley.
I open the texts from hayley and she was all mad because me and Asher left and forgot Hayley and London. I mean I like spending time with hayley except she can get annoying since she's 4 years younger. I look over at Asher and he's just staring at me. It kinda freaked me out at first but then I through a goldfish at him.
"Take a picture it'll last longer." I say while smirking.
"Okay" he says and grabs his phone and takes a bunch.
"let me see!" I say trying to take his phone from him. I eventually get it and I look through them.
"Omg Asher those look horrible! Please delete them!" I say trying to see if he was deleting them. Of course he wasn't so I tried taking his phone out of his hands but he ends up tickling me.
"A-Ash-Asher s-st-stop p-please!" I say in between laughs.
"Never!" he says still tickling me.
"C-come on! I think I'm a-about t-to throw u-up!" I yell while laughing. I'm laying on the warm sand while he is hovering over me tickling me to death. He finally stops and just stares at me. I see a smile creep out and he starts to come closer. We were inches apart when he poked my nose. He rolled over onto the other side of me and we started laughing. I think I'm really starting to fall for him but I don't know if I can trust him still since he's a player.
We stayed there talking about anything and everything. About Caleb passing, what happened with my dad, why my mom acts like she does, and then I learned more about how he was born in Arizona and moved here in 6th grade. He lives with his mom, dad, and sister London, and how he's been playing football since elementary school. We were packing everything up until I finally had the guts to ask him something I've always wanted to ask.
"Hey ash? Can I ask you a serious question?" I ask while putting the rappers into one of the bags.
"Yeah go ahead." He says while closing the chip bag.
"You know how you are labeled as the captain of the football team and that you are a player and a fuck boy? Are you actually one or is that just a rumor? Because rn you don't seem like what I hear around school." I say being serious.
"Yeah it's true. I've always wanted one person in the whole entire school but they would even look at me. So I would go around with girls to get their attention." Asher said looking down.
"But why? That's a horrible way to get a girls attention and you must really like her for going with almost the whole school..."I say trying to get up but Asher hurried up and helps me.
"Yeah I really do like her." He says smiling.
"Well maybe give her a call later and tell her how you feel and then see what she says. If she's not interested then she's not interested." I say while walking back to the car.
"Why should I call her when she's standing right next to me." He says smiling at me.
