Gaia who loved her children, didn't want them to be locked up in the underworld again. She was so angry at Zeus that she conceived one last child before finally dying. Out of her came an enormous serpent giant named Typhon, even larger and more monstrous than the Hecatonchires.
He challenged Zeus for his throne and came towards his palace on Mount Olympus.
Zeus finally came out to face him. Typhon threw mountains on Zeus but before they could hit him, he turned them into ash with his thunder bolts.
Zeus rained his thunder bolts upon him, finally killing him. He buried Typhon's body in the ground.
Now after a long time, Zeus could finally enjoy his time as the ruler of the universe.
