"Eh? What do you mean?!" Ed's imagination ran wild for a while, before forcefully calming himself down .

"I want you to teach me your technique . " It seemed like Ed's power left a deep impression on her .

"I can't teach you that . "

"I know that it might be a secret technique, and I know I'm out of line . But I need to get stronger!" Ellie had some tears in her eyes as she spoke . It seemed like getting stronger was a very important thing for her .



"It's not that I don't want to teach you, I can't . If I teach you this technique you'll probably end up discarding your cultivation . You shouldn't be training both things at once . At least not until you reach Heavenly Establishment . " When reaching Heavenly Establishment, people are able to absorb QI from their surroundings, without having to go into a meditation state . Their bodies would be cleansed making them a perfect vessel for QI .

"However, I don't mind training you with QI only . " QI and Nen were almost the same . Only with Nen, you can create special techniques specific to you only . But with QI you can practice all sorts of techniques easily . Ed could simulate Nen training with QI even though the results would probably be lacking .

"As long as I can get stronger!" Ellie seemed to agree with his proposal .

"Good . Then we'll meet in the training hall . You guys can come as well if you want . " Ed also invited the rest of his friends . It was better than being alone with Ellie .



After everything was over, Ed's friends went to their rooms . Ed summoned his companions and got Raikou to come out of his shadow, they headed to the training room, and he brought out the rest of the cockatrice . All of them greatly enjoyed the feast and looked as if they could go on training for days without stopping . However, Ed would only train for three hours today . He would be undergoing a very intense schedule of training starting tomorrow .

Ed got his companions to train their Ren, and then some advanced techniques while he continued his training of Shunpo . This time he was only using Ten to protect himself in case of falling or going off course . He finished with some Ren training and took a bath . Before going to bed, Ed was thinking about the tournament . 'Since it lasts only for one day, it will probably be a team fight . Perhaps we'll have teams from each class face off against each other, even other classmates . ' Ed finally decided to stop with his speculations and drifted off to sleep .

In the morning, Ed made breakfast for everyone . Raikou wanted to train alone, so Ed let him use the training room as much as he wanted . Ed left the room with Suika and headed to the training hall . On the way, he met up with Leon and chatted until they went in separate ways . Ed had also invited Leon to join him in training, but Leon preferred to train alone, so he could fight Ed without having to hold anything back .

Inside the training hall, Ed found Hayato, Emilia, Stephanie, and Ellie . There were also some of the classmates that joined them before, but they didn't plan to rely on Ed's training this time, they wanted to get stronger on their own .

"Hey everyone . Before we begin, can you show me what techniques you can use that involve QI? I want to know the extent of your abilities . " Ed already had a general idea about their prowess, but the more he knew the better .

Hayato seemed to be able to use all elements . He could also fuse them like Ed; which was very rare . Emilia used many types of magic, but her swordplay was enhanced with QI . The speed and strength of her rapier reached impressive levels . Stephanie was very proficient at using Earth magic . She can also enhance herself with QI similar to Ellie, but a lot weaker . She's also able to use wind magic . Ellie's only use of QI was body strengthening . Although she was good at it, it was only at a basic level .

'If she's a princess, she should have been using a cultivation technique that enhanced her QI . But it seems to be only able to do that . It doesn't look like she trained in skills that used that abundance of QI . ' Ed was able to quickly guess Ellie's situation . Although she had a lot of QI, she couldn't correctly use it . It was just there . 'Nen would suit her a lot if she becomes a Heavenly Establishment cultivator in the future' Ellie's QI would make quite the good use of Nen training .

"I'll be showing you guys how I use QI . It won't be the same as the technique, but it should be better than nothing . " Ed began by entering a state of Ren using only his KI . It felt very awkward for him, but he could still do it . He also showed them Ten and Zetsu . Emilia and Hayato could easily use a technique similar to Hatsu, but Stephanie and Ellie had trouble with it . As for Ren and Ten, they all struggled with it for a while .

After a while, they could mostly use the techniques . Ed decided to do some sparring since it would be useless if they couldn't do it while fighting .

"I'll be training with Emilia and Ellie . Suika you take on Hayato and Stephanie . " Ed separated everyone according to what he thought was proper .

"But Ed, what if we hurt Suika?" Stephanie seemed worried about Suika, unlike Hayato who could generally guess how strong she was .

"Don't worry she'll be fine . In case this helps you, Suika you can transform to make it easier for you . " Ed wasn't worried about Suika at all . He asked to transform into her human form to fight . This surprised everyone, but they remembered that she could transform parts of her body already; doing it on a larger scale seemed only natural .

"Now then, don't hold anything back because we won't be doing so either . " Suddenly, Ed and Suika used Ren to intimidate their opponents . This time it was real Ren, not a simulated one . Their companions could feel the pressure .
