[third pov]
"Hey, Bennyboo!" Mal mocked Audrey when she was out of earshot. She closed her locker and walked to Ben who leaned against some lockers. He smiled before greeting her. "I just made a batch of cookies, double chocolate chip, do you want one?" Mal asked, showing the cookies. Corazon walked passed the two and saw what Mal was trying to do. While chuckling she opened her locker, a few feet away from them.
"Hey Corazon." Carlos happily said, coming over and leaned on the locker next to hers.
"Carlos." She greets, looking up at him. He looked nervously at her. She smirked as she looked back at the books in her locker, she enjoyed that effect she had on him.
"So uh—would you maybe like to try—"
"Not a chance, De Vil." She interrupted him, grabbing a book from her locker. "What do you think I am? Number one rule under basically everyone, including villains: don't take food from villains." Corazon laughed, placing a few books back in her locker.
"Okay maybe the cookies from Mal are spelled." He slowly said. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Okay they are spelled but, I got more of those salty-sweet things!" He said, showing her the orange package. Her eyes widen in excitement. "Want one?" He asked hopeful. Corazon still didn't trust him but took one anyway. As the Princess of Hearts she has some special traits. Explaining she'd say that she has the same abilities as Cupid, without the bow and arrow. With the first bite of the salty sweetness she immediately knew it was spelled. Another trait is that she's not sensitive to sappy love spells like this. Carlos eyed her suspiciously and waited for her response.
"It's sad that we don't have these at the Isle." She joked, wiping some chocolate from the side of her mouth.
"Yeah, that's a bummer." Carlos said, his voice lowly to cover up the disappointment. Playing along to the game she stared lovingly into his eyes.
"You know your eyes are really beautiful, right? Like, they have the cutest golden specks in them." She told the shy boy. His cheeks flustered red but he tried to cover it up by quickly looking away.
"You feel—anything?" He asked unsure, placing his hand on her shoulder.
"I feel absolutely amazing. I mean, you are here." She laughed. When she was little she used to read the spell book, that once mysteriously had appeared on her desk in her room, over and over again. On the island magic isn't possible so she read the book as if it was full of fairytales. For making potions, like love cookies, there would always be a description of how an influenced person would behave.
"That's great." Carlos smiled, suddenly in a rush. "But I need to go get ready for the tourney game, see you there?" Corazon responded with a massive smile and nodding. He slowly turned around before walking away.
"Bye, love ya!" Corazon yelled, returning her gaze back to her locker. Carlos stopped in shock dead in his tracks. He'd hoped the spell would work but this is more than he expected.

"Hey, little C!" Mal yelled. Corazon had changed into her blue with yellow cheerleading uniform and was stretching with some other cheerleaders who had come early as well. Corazon looked to see Evie and Mal nearing her, both dressed in their usual colours.
"Hey guys." Corazon said, standing up. More students made their way to the tourney field to take a seat on the bleachers.
"How are you feeling?" Mal asked, eyeing her suspiciously.
"I'm great." Corazon laughed at the question. "But I don't think Carlos is." She pointed at the platinum haired boy, making Mal and Evie turn around. With a frown on his face he stepped on the tourney field, looking around like a lost puppy. Turning back to face Corazon, the two both wore smug smiles on their faces.
"You and Carlos seem to be getting along very well, hm?" Evie smiled, crossing her arms. Corazon chuckled at Evie's subtle hint. All the VK's were behind the spelled salty sweetness.
"Anyway, how's Ben? How did he take the love cookie?" Corazon asked them curiously.
"Let's just say, he's suddenly into singing." Mal grinned, her cheeks a little flustered.
"Singing Mal's name. We had to cover his mouth." Evie laughed, making Mal cringe. Corazon laughed with her new friends until they needed to find some seats on the bleachers. Corazon noticed Carlos, on the bench for extra's, nervously moving his leg up and down.
"Carlos." He snapped out of his train of thoughts and looked up at her. He jumped up to come over as more calm than he really was.
"Hey, Cora." He confidently smiled at her. She made him feel both at ease and nervous at the same time. It was rather confusing for the boy. To calm down his nerves he leaned on his bat for tourney.
"Nervous?" She chuckled, obviously noticing it.
"Just a tiny bit." He shrugged. She raised an eyebrow at him as a sign of not believing him. "Ok, pretty nervous. I mean, can you blame me? Have you not seen Jay play?"
"Calm down, C." She softly chuckled at him, placing her hand on his arm. At the touch of her hand he eased down. "I'll be cheering for you!" She smiled, pointing at her cheer outfit. Her words were enough to make him smile again.
"Thank you, Cora."
"You're welcome." She placed a kiss on his cheek and walked back to Audrey and the other cheerleaders. He felt the place on his face her lips were just mere minutes before. In shock he watched her join the other cheerleaders.
"That girl rocks my world."
