Minhyun's dark orbs kept on observing me with a mysterious smile painted on his face. I felt uncomfortable. Just imagine going to a huge party and finding someone you know sitting in an isolated hallway,

Minhyun slowly stuck his muscular arm out offering me his hand while his other hand was stuffed in his pocket. I looked at his hand before my eyes trailed up to his face, hesitantly I accepted his offer gently placing my hand on his, he firmly wrapped his slender fingers around my hand, pulling me up on my feet.

I looked at him with a forced smile, trying to convince him in fact myself as well that I'm alright and all that that had happened just a while ago meant nothing.

His eyes were unexpectedly dull, gazing at me like I was his one and only prey that he wanted to devour with his last breath. Tension wrapped around the air above making even the peaceful silence deadly.

I felt a knot form in my stomach under Minhyun's piercing gaze, I wanted to melt into the ground.

It was making me anxious.

With a heavy sigh, I opened my mouth wishing to greet him and exit the scene as fast as possible but gasped loudly when Minhyun's hand smoothly wrapped around my forearm. In a split second, I found myself speed-walking behind Minhyun without protesting.

I was startled and totally blank about the entire situation. He was continuously pulling me to who knows where, we have already passed by the main hall and the reception area, I don't even know if there's anything left ahead or not. He was not stopping and I don't think he will any time soon.

Where was he taking me and why me? I don't know and I am not in the right mental state to ask.

All this time my eyes were wide open but they eventually squinted once I made out the silhouette of a huge oak wood door. As we went nearer and nearer the door seemed to get bigger and bigger, I got only a few moment to analyze the complicated wood carvings of the door before Minhyun loudly kicked it open revealing an empty balcony.

I flinched.

But why a balcony?

The night was dangerous, the matte navy blue sky was like an abandoned canvas with rough stripes of burned-red unevenly scattered here and there, not a single star could be seen, the suffocating thickness of the dark misty layers of clouds was blocking out the jewels of the night, darkening up the sky all the more. The scene itself made shivers run down my spine.

The moment we entered the balcony I felt a queer tingling sensation as if warning me that something was not right but I failed to understand what that something was and that was my greatest sin of the night.

I felt the tight grip on my wrist disappear allowing my blood to flow once again. I made eye contact with Minhyun and that unusual smirk plastered on his lips didn't seem right.

The blowing wind was rather viscous.

''Y/n.'' Minhyun said in a deep raspy voice taking one gloomy step towards me making me cautious.

''You look irresistibly gorgeous tonight.'' He spat out taking another unsteady step, almost covering all the distance between us. His eyes were red and his entire face was covered with the lightest shade of scarlet.

The distance between us was perilously little and the very moment Minhyun's breath hit my face the revolting odor of noxious alcohol flooded my nostrils, he was intoxicated.

At this rate, anything can happen.

I felt disgusted around him and wanted to leave right away but once Minhyun got the signal that I was trying to escape, he violently placed both his hands on either side of my head trapping me with his drunk body, blocking all the escaping routes leaving me absolutely hopeless.
