8. Sing a song?!

''A NEW DAY !'' I said to cheer myself up due to all the crap I had to go through yesterday.

But as soon as I opened my eyes one specific thing came to my mind and GJRIYREWAXCBIUTRTIJGFRESXBH why God, why would you torture me like this by reminding me of that rooftop thingy? I did the usual crappy things that I do in the morning and went to my room for a short break and that's exactly when Soyeon decided to show up and drop the bomb, she came out of nowhere like literally nowhere.

''Y/n get yo thick ass up we've got work to do." She said all hyped up, she didn't even have the time to breathe.

''Was that a compliment?" I asked her. She gave me this 'really hoe, are you for real ?' look.

''I mean that thick ass part was right?"

''If you wanna live long enough till you lose your virginity then run before I count till three.'' She said simply.

''Do you really expect me t-''

''One.''

''Are you for re-''

''Two.''

''Then bye unnie hope we never meet again.'' I ran off being chased by Soyeon.

After a good 15 minutes of running around, we both decided to stop because Soyeon could never catch me and both of us would've been running like total shitheads for decades like that. The two of us finally stopped once I reached the kitchen, trying to catch our breath.

''O...okay.....I.........................................'' She couldn't finish her sentence.

''Y-you made blueberry cheesecake?" But I caught my breath before her. She shook her head, still trying to catch her breath.

''You saw a beautiful flower on your way back here from the supermarket?" She shook her head.

''You saw Mrs. Jeon doing a fire rap secretly in her room?" Again she did the same and I became impatient.

''Then what could it possibly be? Ohhhhhhhhh You won a cow as the first prize in a lottery!" Soyeon smacked my head real hard with her hands and I groaned out of pain.

''You brainless cockroach, from where do these things come to your head, for how long exactly have you been starving yourself that the condition of your brain ended up like this?"

''But I-'' Soyeon cut me off having enough of my shitty mouth.

''Stfu and listen to what I say.'' She demanded.

But little did they know that all this time Jungkook was hearing them and had been laughing his head off that his face turned red and tears were streaming down his face, he almost choked to death while laughing from a distance but close enough to hear your unbelievably meaningless conversation with an empty glass in his hands, probably came here for getting himself some water. But poor him, he just left forgetting about what he came here for.

Still laughing hysterically.

''Okay fine, then spill the tea'' I said waiting for her to continue.

''Oh finally, so one of Jungkook's friends is coming over today and we need to prepare food for them.'' She said looking at me.

''And you're saying this only now? Hurry up we've got a lot to do.'' I said quickly grabbing the cooking apron.

''Look who's talking'' Soyeon said before joining me.

We both prepared the snacks in an hour and the guest for whom we've been preparing the snacks came and was now at Jungkook's room. I quickly arranged the bowls of snack in a tray and headed towards his room with it.

At first, I knocked at the door because Jungkook told me, more like ordered me to do so. When he said to come in, I entered the room. There Jungkook was, casually sitting on the bed with his friend who was sitting on the beanbag. They both looked at me and I noticed how hardly Jungkook was stopping himself from laughing and that's when I swore that I am never gonna face that dude ever again even though it was impossible.

Well, little did you know that Jungkook was actually trying to stop himself from laughing because your face reminded him of that conversation again but you on the other hand thought that it was for the rooftop incident. But that other dude, his friend was still looking at you speechlessly.

I just shrugged it off and went towards the side table to keep the snacks. As I was placing the bowls one by one on the table I heard them talking on the phone.

''O-oh yeah I remember that,'' Jungkook said to whoever was on the other side of the phone. Then he just covered the speakers of the phone with his hand and quickly whispered to his friend

''Yaahh Minhyun, he's asking about it again and I didn't even try to look for one, why does he even ask me about these, but what do I do now?" Then he uncovered the speakers and said that the network was bad. Broooo Mrs. Jeon never mentioned that he was this fluent at lying. I pretended like I was busy fixing the bowls on the table. The topic was interesting you know?

Then Minhyun, as Jungkook called him started hitting him continuously as if he had an idea and I don't know if I saw it wrong or not, then he pointed at me. Jungkook's eyes went wide for a while but then he and Minhyun both smirked looking at each other.

What the fuck? Are they trying to communicate through their eyes? I thought while looking at them creepily.

''Ohhh actually I have someone, would you like to hear her?'' He said on the phone.

''Okay then wait'' he said and walked towards me?!

I just looked at him awkwardly.

''Can you sing a song for me?"

I almost choked on dry air. My eyes went wide and I just kept shaking my head from side to side continuously.

And at the end of the day Curiosity killed The Cat.
