The days passed seemingly quick, and before she could fully wrap her mind around it, the Tyrell party was set out on the Kingsroad. The three women of the house, along with Monroe, was settled into the carriage. Soft chatter was passed between Margaery and their grandmother, but the blonde girl kept herself busy by watching the passing greenery.

"I've never seen the snowfall." The auburn haired girl said dreamily, gaining the attention of her little sister. "What do you think it will be like?"

"It's summer, sweet girl." Olenna spoke up before the blonde had a chance to. "We won't be seeing snows in our visit."

Most of the excitement seemed to disappear from Margaery's face, but her smile remained as she looked to her sister. "Well, I'm sure it will be beautiful. Adelaide will see much of it in the years to come; I'm sure I'll visit one day and see it."

"I'm sure you will." The seventeen year old said with a faint smile before she turned to look out the window of the carriage once more.

She decided to block out the soft chatter of her family members, her mind instead going through the possibilities of the next few weeks. Her father had estimated their arrival to be some time within the next month, which was far too long for Adelaide's liking; her body was already sore from the half a day they had spent on the road.

What was on her mind the most was the thought of what this infamous Robb Stark would look like. News of her engagement spread throughout her home keep like wildfire, and from the whispers of the maidens, the boy was a looker; he was half Tully, half Stark after all. But he also had a gentle heart, and respectful morals.

She had heard wonderful things about Eddard Stark and could only imagine how the Warden had raised his son. Everyone praised the honorable man, and the Tyrell girl had only met him once, when she was a young girl and he had come down to Highgarden. That was years ago, however; when the blonde girl was barely seven.

"-will be done before the Old Gods, seeing as that is the northern tradition." The girl came back to reality to hear the words spoken by her grandmother, causing her to turn to the woman with furrowed brows. "Though, I won't let them get away with not having something with the Seven."

"What?" Adelaide questioned, her tone soft.

"The ceremony." The older woman said simply, earning a small nod from the young girl. "I expect them to make it a rather large spectacle; it's not every day Ned Stark's heir gets married. And to a highborn, wealthy, southern girl, at that."

Seeing the look on her baby sister's face, Margaery reached across the seats and took the girl's hands into hers. Their eyes met and the older of the two smiled brightly.

"I expect you'll be alright, Adelaide." She said in her bell-like tone. "It may take some time, but you will find happiness."

"Some time?" Olenna practically scoffed at her element grandchild's words. "It took me years to love your grandfather. Even then, the man was a buffoon."

"Grandmother." The oldest of the siblings said, looking at the woman with wide eyes, trying to get her to stop her honest words and put the girl at ease, but that would never happen. The Queen of Thrones was nothing but honest.

She sighed softly and turned to her youngest granddaughter, who had returned her gaze to the passing scenery outside the coach. "Listen, my dear," She spoke, gaining Adelaide's attention. "You will learn to love the Stark boy. This I can assure you."

The blonde girl did nothing but nod at her grandmother before looking out the window once more. This time, however, her view was blocked by a white steed. The horse held seat to none other than Loras, who didn't stray his eyes from the road ahead of him.

Adelaide on the other hand, smiled and shook her head, knowing her older brother was most likely just trying to mess with her. So, she obliged and returned her focus to the conversation happening inside the carriage with a pouty huff.
