Adaya was sitting with her husband when a Stark soldier called from outside their tent. "My lord?"
"Enter." Robb replied.
The soldier walked in, a raven scroll in hand. "This arrived just a moment ago, my lord." The guard said as he handed the parchment to Robb.
"Thank you."
With that said, the guard bowed and left the tent. Adaya looked curiously at her husband as he unsealed the letter and ready its contents.
The girl watched as he whole body went rigid. The piece of parchment fell from his hands as Robb lost his balance slightly, having to prop himself against the table to keep from falling over.
Adaya closed her book and stood quickly, making her way over to her husband. She stood on the other side of the table. "Robb?"
The boy slowed looked up, his eyes red and puffy from the unshed tears that lined his eyes. By the look of pure heartbreak and sorrow on his face, Adaya felt she knew what the letter had said without Robb saying a word.

Without saying anything, Adaya went around. The table and pulled her husband into her arms. His whole body shook with sobs and he clung to his wife, filled with sorrow and grief. "They killed him." Robb choked out. "He's dead."
"Shh." Adaya said softly, though she, too, felt like breaking down. "Everything will be alright."
"How? They killed my father. They killed him for no apparent reason."
Adaya ran her fingers gently through the boy's curls, trying her best to calm him. While she wanted to speak, the girl found she had no idea what to say. What do you say to someone who went to war to free their father, only to have him taken from them when they got so close?
"I'm going to kill them." Robb said softly, slightly recovered from his breakdown. "All of them. I'm going to kill them."
Adaya pulled back and cupped Robb's face in her hands, wiping his tears away with his thumbs. The girl, though not realizing it before, also had tears rolling down her cheeks. "We will avenge him, Robb."
Robb nodded and pulled his wife to his chest, holding her close to himself. If he said he wasn't scared, he would be lying. In truth, the boy was terrified of what was to come next; he was terrified to lose his family.
