The raven with the new terms was sent out the following morning. Lucky for the Starks, Lord Frey seemed it to be a fair enough trade and opened his gates, allowing Robb and his army to cross the bridge. Adaya rode beside her husband, smirking with the success of her idea.

As they reached a fork in the path, 2,000 of Robb's men went off one way while the rest of the army followed their liege lord. This was all part of the plan to weaken the Lannister forces.

Later that same day, Robb and his wife were in their tent, naked and tangled together. Robb was leaving for battle soon, and Adaya wasn't happy about it.

"Do you have to go?" The girl asked, her voice hushed.

Robb sighed softly, looking over at his young bride. "I do. I can't expect men to risk their lives for me if I won't risk mine for them."

"I understand that. But you could actually die out there."

"Then so be it. My men need me to-"

"I need you." Adaya said abruptly, cutting her husband off. The girl sat up and let the fur's fall off of her as she slightly halted down at the Stark boy. "Our child needs a father."

Robb slowly sat up, cupping Adaya's petite face in his hands. "I'm going to be fine, my love. I promise."

The girl felt the tears well up in her eyes as she abruptly shook her head. "Don't...don't say that. Don't promise." The girl looked down. "You can't be sure that you'll..."

Robb put his finger under his wife's him and tilted her head up so her eyes met his. "I'm not going to die, Adaya. I'll have my men to protect me." When the girl didn't say anything, Robb leaned in closer, his face inches from hers. "I love you. Do you hear me? I love you."

The tears started to slowly roll down the Tyrell girl's cheeks. "I love you, too. So much."

Robb placed a soft kiss to Adaya's head before pulling her to his chest, his arms wrapped around her tightly. He could feel the warm tears drop off Adaya's cheeks and onto his bare chest.

"Everything is going to be just fine." The boy whispered softly. "I'm going to come back. For you. And for our child."

"You better."
