About two weeks had passed since the raven had arrived from King's Landing. Everyone was in a panic as they rushed to get the castle ready for his arrival. Robb was constantly rushing around, trying to help his father as much as he can.
While she wanted to go out and help, Adaya didn't have the energy. She had been ill the past couple of days and, often, she felt too nauseous to leave her bed. Robb insisted he stay with her, but he had other stuff to worry about.
A knock came at the door and Adaya looked up front he book she was reading. "Come in." She closed the book just as the door opened, revealing the maester. "Oh, hello Luwin."
"Good morning, Lady Stark." He said, closing the door before walking over to the bed. He sat down at the edge, looking at the girl expectantly. "Your husband sent me in here to check on you. He says you have been ill the past few days. What seems to be the problem, my lady?"
Adaya shrugged. "I'm not quite sure. I've just felt kind of lightheaded and nauseous. I'm sure it's just something that will pass."
Luwin sighed before he stood up, walking to stand next to me. "May I, my lady?"
Confused, the girl nodded as the maester leaned down, feeling her stomach. He felt around for a minute before feeling one of her breasts. As uncomfortable as Adaya was, she knew he was just doing his job.
Slowly, a smile crept onto the old man's face. "Well, I'll be..." he whispered.
"What is it, maester?" Adaya asked, though she felt she knew the answer; all the signs were there.
"It seems that the heir to Winterfell is expecting his own heir." Luwin told her, standing up straight. "You are in your early stages, maybe just a few weeks along, but I am almost certain you are expecting. Congratulations, Lady Stark."
Adaya thanked him before he slipped out of the room. The girl slowly rose a hand, placing it lightly on her stomach. She felt as a smile come to her lips. While this was something unexpected, she didn't mind; she was happy nonetheless.

Robb came back into the room later that night. Adaya had been reading the book she had gotten earlier still, which she found very interesting; it was about Aegon the Conquerer.
Adaya looked up as her husband walked over to the desk, setting down some papers he had. She could see he was stressed without him even saying anything.
"Everything alright, my love?" The girl asked, closing her book and setting it on the table besides her.
He kept his back to her, propping his hands on the table and leaning slightly on them. "Yeah, just there's a lot of work to be done." Robb sighed. "I don't know how my father does it. I've only go half of his work and I feel like I'm drowning."
"Maybe you just need a break." His wife suggested.
"As much as I'd love to, there's no time. The king will be here in two weeks and we are no where near prepared for his arrival."
Sighing, Adaya thought about something she should do. She grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill from the table and started to write, using her book as a table.
Robb must have heard her, for he glanced over his shoulder at her. "Who are you writing to, Adaya?"
"My father. Hopefully the raven gets to Highgarden around the same time he does."
Her husband smiled before turning back to his work. "What are you writing him about? He did just leave, after all."
"Just updating him on everything; the king's arrival, my health." Adaya paused before she spoke again. "His grandchild."
The girl looked up in time to see Robb's body stiffen. Slowly, he turned his head to face his wife, his brows slightly furrowed. "What?" He whispered, but Adaya could still hear him.
She smiled slightly at him. "I'm with child, Robb."
The boy looked at Adaya for a while before his features relaxed and a small smile came to his face. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in at his response.
He turned towards her and walked over to the bed, kneeling down besides her. Adaya set her parchment down and turned to face him.
"Are you certain?" He asked, the toothy smile still on his face.
Adaya nodded. "The maester said so himself; he's almost certain that's why I've been ill these last few nights."
Robb's smile seemed to grow as he lifted his hand and cupped his wife small jaw in his hand. She placed a hand over his, turning her head to place a soft kiss on his palm before nuzzling into his warm hand.
"I love you." He said softly. "So much."
Adaya smiled. "I love you, too, Robb."
The Stark boy smiled before he dropped his hand from her face, turning his attention to her stomach. "And I love you, little one." He leaned forward and softly kisses her skin, where Adaya would soon be swelling.
The girl giggled softly and leaned down, placing a soft kiss to the top of her husband's head, his soft curls tickling her face. At the moment, this was all she needed. She was happy, and nothing could change that.
