Renly led the two Stark ambassadors through his camp, his guards trailing behind a little, where his soldiers were roaming about, all greeting the youngest Baratheon as they saw him. The king approached a man who was leading a horse to the stables and walking with a slight limp.

"Your Grace." The man greeted, bowing his head slightly as he stopped in his tracks.

"Gerard. How's your foot?" The Baratheon asked politely.

"Better, Your Grace." Gerard reaches up and patted his horse gently. They don't know their own size is all."

"Good man." With that said, the group started walking again. While the walked, Renly spoke to the two Starks. "I have a hundred thousand men at my command. All the might of the Stormlands and the Reach."

"And all of them young and bold like your Knight of Flowers?" Cat said, gaining Adaya's attention, see as it was her brother the woman was speaking of

"And all of them young and bold like your Knight of Flowers?" Cat said, gaining Adaya's attention, see as it was her brother the woman was speaking of. "It's a game to you, isn't it? I pity them."

"Why?"

"Because it won't last." Adaya sighed, seeing as what her mother by law has getting at. "Because they are the knights of summer and winter is coming."

Renly was silent for a moment as the group stopped and he turned to face Lady Cat and Adaya. "Brienne, escort Lady Catelyn and Lady Adaya to their tents. They're tired from their journey."

Brienne bowed her head and looked at her king. "At once, Your Grace. Shall I return after?"

"That won't be necessary. I would pray awhile. Alone." Renly stated before turning and walking away.

"If you'll follow me, my ladies." Brienne said before starting to walk, the two women following behind.

"You fought bravely today, Lady Brienne." Adaya said to the tall and lumbering woman.

"I fought for my king." The knight replied. "Soon I'll fight for him on the battlefield. Die for him if I must. And, if it please you, Brienne's enough. I'm no lady."

Adaya followed the woman still, but Cat pasued momentarily, allowing a small smile to appear on her face before she continued to walk with the other two.

It was the next night when Adaya was sitting in her tent, reading a book she brought with her on the journey with a hand rubbing over her stomach, that Lady Cat and Brienne burst in.

Adaya looked up quickly, closing the book before standing. "What has happened?" She asked, noticing the looks they both wore.

Brienne looked like a mess, her face red with anger and unshed tears. "King Renly was murdered. Murdered by a shadow with the face of Stannis Baratheon."
