Wait to start the song.

Through out the day Tyler got nothing but stares from different eyes, everywhere he went people would either snicker or whisper something to their friends. Honestly, he really wished Josh had all classes with him. He was feeling vulnerable and afraid. He walked into AP Biology, having it with Awsten and Sam. He sat down right in front of them and smiled. Both of them smiled back but, it wasn't a real smile. It was a side smile.

As class went on, the teacher finally said that they can work together on their group project. Both Sam and Awsten stayed quiet for most of the time. Tyler was getting annoyed with it.

"Are you guys going to just ignore me?" He said.

Sam and Awsten just looked at each other. Tyler could see the guilt in their eyes as they tried to figure out what to say to him. It made Tyler's heart ache a bit.

"Ty, we just don't think Josh is the right person for you. We do care about you a lot but, don't you remember that he terrorized Geoff and I when he thought something was wrong?" Awsten said.

"He's not like that! He just has this bad boy persona that everyone is afraid of. He wouldn't hurt me or anyone around me." Tyler replied.

Both Awsten and Sam didn't say anything. They went back to writing in their journals quietly. Tyler felt an ache in his chest. It hurt but it was bearable. He just didn't understand why his friends couldn't be happy for him. They weren't even talking to him. As more time in class went on, they didn't share one word to each other. The bell finally rang for lunch. Tyler grabbed everything and put it in his backpack quickly.

"I'm sorry." Tyler whispered before getting up from the table and walking out.

Tears were threatening to spill from his eyes as more people watched him walk through the halls. Why was everyone just looking at him like he was some asshole? Tyler just kept walking, trying to ignore the whispers and snickers throughout the hallway when he suddenly came crashing into someone larger than him. Their arms wrapped around them tightly and Tyler finally let the tears fall from his eyes. The smell of Josh's cologne was in his nose. He felt relieved from it. His anxiety made his head fuzzy and his eyes watery.

"Let's walk outside for a minute. Ash, Jenna, Brad, Mark, Dallon and Brendon are waiting for us." Josh said soothingly

Tyler nodded and kept his head down as Josh guided  him towards the front of the school doors. Once he was outside, he stopped and took in a deep breath. It felt like he had been holding it in for hours but it was only a couple of minutes. Josh stood in front of him with a softened look on his face. It really did comfort Tyler that Josh cared.

"My friends think you're bad for me. They won't even talk to me." Tyler said.

"Then thats their loss Ty. You have a whole new group of friends now!" Josh said with his stupid smile.

Tyler smiled at Josh's attempt into trying to make him feel a little better. He greatly appreciated it. Josh wasn't this mean person, he was the gentle giant who just liked to put on this bad boy persona.

"Are we going somewhere or what?" Ashley said behind them.

Both Josh and Tyler turned to her. She wiggled her eyebrows while she leaned her head on Jenna's shoulder. Tyler smiled as Josh pulled him towards Jenna's car. Once again they were taking her car while she took Josh's motorcycle.

"Where are we going?" He asked before everyone got in or on their vehicle.

"You and I are going to your house, I promised you that if you had a bad day then i'd cuddle you and watch sappy love movies. Everyone else is either going to Mark's house or Brendon's house." Josh said with a smile.
