Once we were on the plane and situated I was finally able to relax. I was sooo nervous about going back home. I mean I was just getting used to the time change and here I am going back to Australia. Considering it was a last minute trip, we all have seats scattered around the plane. However, I was lucky enough to be sitting next to Ashton while everyone else was scattered around. I sigh and turn to him.

"Ash, What do you really think about me and Luke?"

"I think it's great. You guys obviously like each others and you guys are perfect for each other."

"But how do you know that?"

"Some people are just meant to be." I sighed.
"You do want to date him right?"
"Of course! I really really like him, I'm just scared." I admit. I am. I'm scared of rejection and being hurt again or neglected. I don't want to go back to those times. I take this time as a perfect opportunity to pull out the black book Luke gave me and scribble down random words for how I felt. He was right. It did help. I spent the entire LONG plane ride jotting down my feelings until they made the announcement that we had arrived. We exited the plane and met up with the rest of the band. We got our suitcases and walked to the taxi waiting to pick us up. Calum, Luke and Michael will be spending the first 2 or 3 nights with us because they weren't able to give their families a notice because it was such a last minute decision. We put our bags in the trunk and sat quietly on the ride home. Luke and I were seated in the back row, my foot tapping on the crowd and my thumbs fiddling with each other. A nervous habit I've always had. Luke must've noticed because he reached out and out his hands over mine before looking me in the eyes.

"Everything will be okay." I nod and he places a short and sweet kiss on my lips. Right before we pull apart to hear camera click. Our head immediately snap forward to see a guilty looking Calum holding his phone.

"I'm sorry but you guys are just too damn cute." I roll my eyes and the cab driver pulls into the driveway of my home. We all piled out. The boys were getting all the luggage as Aston and I walk to the front door hand in hand. He knocks on the door gently and in about 5 Seconds it opened revealing Anne.

"Oh my goodness you guys got so big!" She cries pulling us both into a tight hug. We walk in the house.

"Where are the little ones?" Ashton asks. Mom shrugs.

"Lauren, Harry, come down here." She yelled. There were heavy footsteps coming down the stairs revealing an annoyed Lauren to busy on her phone to notice we were here.

"What?" She asks never looking up. I clear my throat which causes her to look up immediately.

"Skylar." She breathed out before running into my open arms.
"I missed you so much."

"I missed you too. Look at you!" I exclaimed stepping back from her.
"Your growing up." She rolls her eyes playfully before hugging Ashton as well after about five minutes we here more footsteps. We immediately know it is 11 year old Harry. Ashton steps against the wall and I do too. As Harry rounds the corner Ashton jumps out and scares him.

"HOLY CO- ASHTON!" He yells jumping into his arms.

"Hey buddy."

"I missed you."

"I missed you too buddy." I could tell Ashton was becoming emotional. I'm not really supposed to talk about this because it makes everyone emotional. (Forgive me 5SOS fam for I have sinned) Ashton was always the father figure to the kids considering they didn't have a dad. After Ashton left, Harry was all alone. They hugged for about five more minutes before pulling away. I stand there with my arms crossed. Harry still hasn't noticed me.

"Jeez Har, What does a girl gotta do to get a hug around here?" I ask dramatically getting Harry's attention.

"SKYLAR! YOUR BACK TOO!" He screams giving me a tight hug too.

"Oh my gosh this is so amazing. My families back together." Mom says smiling at the sight. I was grateful to be considered family with the Irwin's. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Ashton and I both looked at each other and then began laughing. We forgot about the boys. Suddenly we hear someone that sounds like Luke yell.

"Guys? I know you're happy and all, but we've been sitting out here for 30 minutes and I want to say hi to Mama Irwin too." I laugh at his whining before running over and opening the door to the three buys. I apologize and they all run passed me to say hi to my family. After they all said their hellos , Luke came back over to me. We were watching Lauren and Harry play video games with Michael. They were laughing and having a good time.

"You think they'll be okay." He asks wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Yeah. They'll be alright." I say smiling as I look into his eyes.

"SKYLAR ROSE KING-IRWIN! YOU DID NOT TELL ME YOU HAD A FREAKING BOYFRIEND!" That was lauren. Did I ever mention she has a big mouth. No? Well she does.

"Skylar? You have a boyfriend?" Mom asks me with a hopeful smile. I nod sheepishly.

"Luke and I are officially dating as of ten hours ago which is why you guys weren't aware." I explain.

"I'm so happy for you Skylar." Mom says giving me a hug. I smile. It was always hard for me to make friends never mind a boyfriend. I have to admit. I don't think I will ever get used to it myself.
