"HOME SWEET HOME!" I yell as I walk into my apartment for the first time in a month.
"You're so dramatic." Ashton laughs.
"I'm aware." I shrug before I begin unpacking my bags. Luckily it wasn't to bad because I just threw all my clothes into my closet and gave up. I decided to take a nap because I haven't really gotten a good nights sleep in a month and I'm extremely anxious to be back in the comfort of my own bed. After scrolling through Instagram for about an hour, I finally decided to go to sleep.
~The next day~
Do I have to wake up? I mean honestly. Why can't humans hibernate like bears? Life sucks man. I drag myself out of bed because i am in fact not a bear and I actually can't sleep for months at a time. So I brush my teeth and walk over to Ashton's house. We decided to have a chill day because we had just gotten home from tour and everyone is tired. I walk into his apartment and look around. I don't see anyone except Michael on the couch. I walk over an sit next to him.
"Hey Mikey." I smile taking my seat.
"Good morning Skylar."
"Where is everyone else?"
"Ashton went to get coffee with Calum and Luke is on the phone, he said he will be here in a few minutes."
"Coolio. Are you happy to be home?"
"I don't know. I love touring and performing but it was so nice to sleep in an actual bed."
"I know right! I never missed my bed more!" I laugh.
"So how have you been? I know you were kind of in a bad mental state the other day." Michael asks concerned. I shrug.
" I don't know. I just think that so much has happened for me in such a short period of time. I mean I've only been in America for like 3 months and I already best friends with and went on tour with them."
"Wow. That's true. I never realized how stressful this all was on you." He says sympathetically. I shake my head.
"No, I'm fine seriously." I force a fake smile.
"If you're sure. Im always here if you need to talk."
"Thanks Mikey." I say kindly while giving him a quick hug. After we pull apart I hear the door open, revealing the other three boys.
"Oh good you're awake." Ashton says when he sees me on the couch. He walks over to Michael and I with drinks. "I got you your favorite." I reach for the cup Ashton is handing to me and thank him.
"Good morning." Like smiles placing a kiss on my lips.
"Hey." I reply as he sits next to me on the couch. Ashton and Calum join us and we talk about our usual random stuff. "Where were you this morning?"I ask turning to Luke.
"I'm taking you on a date tonight." He responds with a smile. I nod returning the smile and we go back to talking with the rest of the group. We hung out for a little bit just talking and playing games, after a while I told them I had to leave and I went back to my apartment to get ready for my date. Damn! Of course Leah isn't here to help me get ready. I guess I'm on my own for this one. I decided to wear one of my many red dresses.

I wore a pair of sparkly silver heels with it and did a natural looking eyeshadow with a bright cherry red lip. I also included a sparkly silver handbag with my phone in it. I let my naturally curly hair lay down to the middle of my back. I heard a knock on my door and took one last look in my mirror before walking to the door. I opened it to reveal Luke dressed in dress pants, a white dress shirt with a red tie and his black leather jacket. He looked me up and down before smiling causing me to blush.
"Hey." I say looking down in embarrassment. Luke noticed my shyness and tilted my chin up with his index finger.
"Hey, you look beautiful. Don't hide your pretty face from me." He says softly causing me to blush even harder.
"You look very handsome as well." I say baddie placing a quick kiss on his lips. We pull apart as I hear someone clear their throat. Luke and I both look over to see Ashton standing there with his arms crossed looking at us.
"You okay Ton?" I ask using his childhood nickname. He doesn't say anything but walk closer eyeing Luke. He reached out to shake his hand and Luke accepted with a confused smirk. Ashton kept a straight face when he let go of Luke's hand and crossed his arms again. He stared at us for a few seconds before breaking out into laughter.
"I couldn't do it guys! I tried so hard! I tried to be the tough big brother kinda guy but I couldn't! You guys get going and have fun." We laugh and begin to walk away before Ashton called out again. "Not too much fun though! She is my sister Lucas!" We laughed and continued walking down to the parking lot and got into Luke's car. The ride was filled with comfortable silence. I looked out the window the entire time just enjoying Luke's presence. I was so dazed out that I didn't even realize we were parked until my door was opened by Luke. He reached his hand out to me and I happily excepted it and stepped out of the car. I closed the car door and we began walking into the fancy restaurant. I'm not gonna lie when I say that neither me or Luke are fancy enough for this restaurant and he knows it but this is probably going to be the best night of my life.
