Two weeks later

The last few weeks have been nothing but interesting. I thought it would be awkward with Liam, Leah , Luke and I but surprisingly it wasn't at all. Liam and I are still close friends and we all get along well. Luke and I's relationship is stronger than ever and I couldn't be happier. However I don't get to spend too much time with him because he has had a show everyday the last two weeks and it's like that for two more weeks. The thing is having a short tour is nice except there is a show EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. I know I shouldn't be complaining because I'm lucky to even be invited on tour but it gets pretty boring and Leah can agree. We are beyond happy for the boys but it is annoying. I'm also sad because after we get back home, Leah needs to go back to her childhood home in New York for a month so It's going to be just like when I first moved in. I have also been writing in the book Luke gave me a lot lately. Even though I'm the happiest I've ever been now, I still don't feel like myself. I realized the other week that I need to focus more on my own mental health than worry about what other people think about me. I was scribbling in my book endlessly when I heard the door of the bus open and a bunch of loud boys walking in.

"There goes the quiet." I mumble.

"I know sister." Leah says from her bunk. I sigh and out my book in my pillowcase before jumping down from my bunk. I walk over to the boys and give each of them a hug.

"Hey. How was the show?"

"So good! They were definitely the loudest crowd so far."

"Yeah. What did you and Leah do while we were gone?"

"Enjoyed the quiet."

"Well I hope you really did enjoy it because you have another 24 hours before our next show.

"Great." I mumble stomping away to my bunk. I get up and lay down before I feel a hand on my back. I look over and see Ashton and Luke sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Are you Okay Rose?" Luke says rubbing circles on my back. I shake my head.

"My head is pounding." I mumble.

"Skylar?" Ashton says catching my attention.
"Are your migraines back?" He asks like a concerned mother. I nod my head slightly and he sighs.

"Luke can I talk to her for a second?" Luke nods and kisses my lips before walking away leaving Ashton and I.
"How long have they been happening?"

"Since before tour started." I admit.

"Why didn't you say something?"

"I didn't want you to worry about me."

"Skylar it's my job to worry about you. I love you so much and don't want to watch you go down a dark path again." I nod in understanding.

"I will be okay Ash, I promise." I say sticking out my pinky. He hesitantly wraps his large finger around my little one.

"There's something else I wanted to talk to you about." He says nervously.

"What's up brochacho?"

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to get your name legally changed to Irwin. You don't have to! I wS just curious."

"I like that idea. I much rather be an Irwin than a King." I admit.

"Skylar you've always been an Irwin, it just wasn't on paper." I smile at his cheesiness.
"I have the papers, you just need to sign them." He says reaching over to his bunk and pulling out a piece of paper.  I nod and jump down from my bunk and walk over to the table.
"Guys! Everyone gather around for we are all about to witness a life changing moment." Ashton announces.

"What are you talking about Ash?" Everyone was confused as they all sat down at the table.

"Woah woah woah you guys need to else room for Skylar! This is a big moment!" Ashton yells. Luke smiles and pulls me into his lap.

"Now tell us what you're yelling about." Luke says with a slight chuckle.

"I'm going to legally change my name to Irwin today." I announce.

"Really!"

"So instead of being Skylar King-Irwin you will just be Skylar Irwin." I nod my head with a growing smile.

"All I need to do is sign this." I say looking at the paper.

"Well.., what're you waiting for!" I laugh at Michael's impatience and pick up the pen. The first signature I signed Skylar King for the last time. Then to seal the deal I signed Skylar Rose Irwin. I handed the paper to Ashton as everyone cheered and clapped.

"I'm an Irwin!" I yell throwing my arms up. Luke's grasp around my waist tightens and pulls me closer. I place my hands on either side of his face and he kisses me.

"Congratulations Miss Irwin." He says as we pull apart. I feel completed now. The only thing I pave ever wanted was a family, and now, looking around this table, I've realized that I've had one all along.
