(Note this also takes time after Link beats Ganon. And the champions are alive again. You the reader are a warrior and close friend to Zelda which is why she also made you a champion, you also know a lot about the divine beasts and guardians.)

The Rito village was a very nice place but the cold is the only downfall. You were in Vah Medoh waiting for your boyfriend to return from his hunt with soldiers from the village. It was cold and you could not stop shivering. Finally after what seemed like years, Revali entered the room.

"Ah, there you are." He said.

You could not stop your teeth from chattering. So you just nodded your head. Revali was confused by this and walked over to you. He could clearly see that you were shaking, with that he picked you up and brought you to the nearby bed. He went to grab a blanket and put it on both of you and snuggled you close to his warm feathers. And with that you stopped shaking and fell asleep.

The next morning you awoke with the urge to sneeze. You sneezed once, twice, and a few more times. Revali awoke to you sneezing and coughing. He felt your forehead and noticed it was slightly warm. He got up, and went to the market to get some medicine. You were left in bed continuously coughing. He returned with the medicine and gave it to you. It made you drowsy so you fell back asleep.

...

Hours later you awoke and found him asleep in the chair where he was reading. You get up and lightly tap him. He awakes and immediately prepares to fight but relaxes when he sees you.

"Oh sorry, I'm so used to being woken up if there are monsters nearby." He said.

You giggled at this. He asked how you were feeling and you felt a lot better but the stuffy nose was still present. He nodded his head and allowed you to cuddle with him on the chair where he was reading. Eventually you dozed off.

The next day you felt great, the little cold you had was completely gone. And good timing too, Princess Zelda had arrived to check up on the divine beast.

"Good morning, Y/N how have things been here?"

"Things have been well Princess, though the weather could be warmer. The divine beast appears to be functioning well after everything it's been through with Ganon." You replied.

"That's great to hear. By the way, where is Revali?"

"Hmm, good question."

You called out his name and he came flying in. He made a rough landing but managed to catch his balance.

"Greetings Princess, my apologies for being late. I was busy talking with the elder."

"That's alright Revali, also you don't look well are you ok?"

"Yeah you don't look so good sweetie." You said.

His eyes looked irritated, and he appeared to be tired. You move closer to him and felt his head. He had a slight fever. You quickly explain to Zelda how you were sick a little while ago and assumed that Revali may have caught what you had. With that Zelda said she'll return again another day so that he may rest and recover. You asked one of the guards to help you bring Revali up to the divine beast. Revali was irritated by this but complied to not get you upset or angry. The guard returned and flew you up there, you thanked him and turned your attention to Revali.

...

After giving him the medicine he quickly fell asleep in your lap. You smooth out the feathers on his head and eventually felt yourself dozing off too. So you laid down next to him and fell into a deep sleep.
