Ok you know what's what, let's do this!

Note: This is after Calamity Ganon, you reader are a knight who has been best friends with Link for the longest time.

(Y/N POV)

Link tossed a piece of meat to the Wolf companion we had picked up on our travels. We were in Hyrule field, traveling around, saving people from monsters, your typical hero work. But our goal was to find a master swordsman who travels all through Hyrule, "shadowed in twilight." We didn't understand what the "twilight" part meant but decided to search anyway.

"You know his fur is patterned in a special way, huh Link?" I asked.

He grunted in response to this. He doesn't really talk much or at least when I'm around him. But I was right when I say the wolf's pattern on his fur is odd.

"Maybe he can lead us to the swordsman we're looking for," I said.

Link shrugged his shoulders. The Wolf came over to him and licked his face. He then curls up next to him. Link chuckled at this and then looks at me. I smiled and then turned my attention to the fire.

...

The next morning Link and the Wolf were gone. I saw footprints leading off into the woods.

Must have gone hunting, I thought to myself. I got up and began to fix up my hair.

A few moments later Link and the Wolf returned with some steak and began cooking it. The Wolf stared at the steak in anticipation, waiting for it to be finished. Link gave me a look, and winked at me. I smiled at him, he was clearly up to something.

He took a stick and poked the wolf. The Wolf glared at him and growled. Link chuckled at this and tossed the stick into the fire. The Wolf went back to staring at the meat. When it was done, Link took a piece and tossed it aside for the Wolf. The Wolf attacked the meat and began eating. Link scooted close to me and gave me a piece.

...

Sometime later we were traveling again and came across a group of monster waiting to ambush any near by travelers. We saw this and decided to have some fun. We both snuck stealthy around the monsters and sneak attacked them. But some noticed us and lunged at us. A battle broke out, eventually we defeated all the monsters. But one slipped away and came up behind me and hit my leg which caused me to fall to the ground in pain. Link quickly disposed of the monster and help me up. I winced and could not move. He picked me up bridal style and set me down on a nearby log.

He gave me a red potion and I felt better very quickly. Link gave me a look of deep concern.

"Link I'm fine, you don't have to-" was all you could say before he pulled you into a hug.

"I was so scared, I thought I would lose you," he said.

You were lost for words at the fact that he just spoke, not to mention that he saved your life. All you could do was hug him back and enjoy the rest of the night.

A/N

Hello lovelies, sorry I'm a bit late today but this chapter has to be the most difficult chapter I've written. Since we don't hear Link talking, we don't really know his emotions or his thoughts. Hence why I was hesitant to do a chapter for him.

Anyway, you guys can imagine the rest of the story or something. I don't know what your mindsets are and you guys and think what you want :)
