The sands were still that night. The stars twinkling. The wind blowing gently. The moon glowing like it was alive. I was sitting on the balcony of Naboris; a blanket was spread out for comfort. Urbosa was making coffee to help warm us up, it was a bit chilly. I pulled my cloak more over my shoulders to keep my warmth. Conveniently, Urbosa walked over with the warm coffee. She sat down and handed me my cup. We sat in silence, gazing at the stars.

"Urbosa, I need some advice," I say breaking the silence.

"Alright, do tell?" She replied.

I began to explain to her my recent breakup with my ex boyfriend. It was not a toxic relationship, but the breakup itself was confusing. I had a planned out future, I would go to school and learn to grow myself into a wonderful young Hylian. I studied lots of ancient texts to help Princess Zelda and became one of her top scholars. He had no plans for his future, he only wanted to race with others. He would win money from said races to survive. I talked with him a few times to try and convince him to try a bit of education, but to no avail. I gave up and decided to accept him as he was and love him regardless. After we hit a month of the relationship, he broke it off and hasn't spoken to me since.

"...And that's everything so far. I'm just very confused," I said with a sigh.

"Y/N, this is a very odd predicament, and for him to say it's for your future that he does not burden you, is wrong. If he loved you, he would have stayed with you. Not only that, he would have looked to himself to be better for him and you."

"You're right. I am just very angry and upset still, it's like I cannot let him go."

"It will be like that for some time. Remember this, 'You can't heal if you keep going back to what hurt you.'"

I sat quietly. Her words struck me very deeply that it moved me to silence.

"You can't heal if you keep going back to what hurt you," I repeated with a bit of a smile.

Urbosa nodded her head and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged her back. She's always been one of the best to talk with and for advice.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, Y/N."

We spent the rest of the night resting and enjoying the sounds of the night.

Honestly this was based off real life events (hahaha relationships go brrrr).

But I'd thought I'd share it with all of you because I know some of us struggle sometimes and come onto here for comfort with our comfort characters. Urbosa fits into the perfect category for that.
