⭐️ Zelda x Reader: Bees

(You guys know the drill with what's what)

Note: This takes place after Calamity had been defeated. Link went off on a journey to sharpen is sword skills at some Knights Academy. You, reader, are one of Zelda's closest friends and a guard from the elite team she has assembled after the Calamity.

"Y/N!! Please help me!" Zelda screamed.

"Coming Princess," You replied.

With swat of your hand the bee flew away. Zelda sighed in relief and thanked you. You nodded your head in response. You two had been out all day surveying Hyrule fields for any monsters. You and her were not surprised to not find any. But there was an abundant amount of bees.

Zelda continued forward with you by her side. You now know how Link felt following her around 24/7. Your feet were killing you by the time you both found a spot to camp for the night. After setting up the camp, you sat down on the log next to Zelda. You picked up at twig and began shifting the fire wood. Zelda sat there staring into the fire, deep in thought.

"Y/N? I know we have known each other for a long time but I was wondering, how has our friendship lasted this long? Usually some people get irritated with me and walk away," she said, with a sad expression.

"Zelda, our friendship is very powerful. You have respect for me and I have respect for you. That's how friendships start, they start with respect. People may find you irritating but I don't. I find you as an incredible person, one who is smart, funny, kind, and beautiful," you said.

"Did you call me beautiful?" She asked.

You face felt hot, you couldn't believe you just said that. Covering your face, you turned away from her not responding to her question.

"Y/N?"

"I guess I did, but it's the truth."

"Well, I too have found you charming."

You turned and saw her blushing. She noticed you staring and turned away blushing even more. You took her hand, and smiled. She returned the smile, and gave you a peck on the cheek. You felt your face grow hot from this.

"Well it's getting late, and we will need our rest for tomorrow. We need to head off to the Gerudo to help Riju," she said.

You nodded your head and crawled into you sleeping bag. Zelda did the same except, she moved her bag closer to you. You decided to pull her into a hug, and cuddled her for the rest of the night.

...

The next day, you both were attacked by bees. Apparently the one you swatted away yesterday, went back to the hive and got the entire army to attack you and Zelda. Fortunately Zelda has no stings but you, you were covered in them. Zelda had red potions and used all of them trying to help you. They healed most of the stings but you were still in pain. You both spent the rest of the day laughing about that event.
