A soft breeze caresses my cheeks as I watch Jimin and V hyung sit on the sunbeds a bit far away, lost in a conversation I don't mind not being a part of. In front of me Jung-Hyun hyung sips from his coffee, eyes lost somewhere in the horizon, involved in thoughts I don't mind not having a clue about.
I like the taste of water on my tongue. It's nearly sweet yet never obvious about it. Just like the clouds that refreshen the heat of the sun by the time it hits the earth, that subtle everything feels at the moment. Nothing is too intense to look at, to smell, to feel... I think the sea weather made me a little dizzy overall, I feel lightheaded.
- We're getting a big deal this month, Kook. -Hyung speaks holding his cup to catch my attention.
- Really? -I lean forward interestedly, feeling a little excited over the bright smile that decorates hyung's face. -What's it about?
He explains to me that the entertainment TV show "Running Man" has reached out to the studio with a request to partner in one of their upcoming episodes. It's not the biggest project we've gotten since we are quite famous and have immense number of offers and partnerships running, but it's an honor to be contacted by one of the most mainstream entertainment shows in South Korea and across Asia too!
- They want us to draw portrait pictures of the regular members of the show and the guests that will be partaking in that episode that week. The episode will be art-themed, according to what Byung-Woo said. They will hide the portraits all around South Korea and challenge them to find them or something. Basically. -He shrugs.
- Daebak! That's so cool, hyung!
- You wanna partake in the show or something? -He passes me a cheeky grin, causing me to chuckle and nod my head.
- It sounds like fun, honestly.
- Well... You are kinda lucky. Because you will be the guy delivering those portraits to the Running Man offices all around South Korea.
I tilt my head in confusion, decreasing my eyes as I questioningly go over what he said. -Me?
He shrugs like it's the most obvious thing in the world. -You don't expect me to trust delivery companies to transport the portraits, do you?
Well...
- Uh, actually... do?
He pouts defensively, leaning his body towards me over the table like he is giving me a secret, yet with the same loudness of tone. -Yah. What kind of executive are you, may I ask? How can you be so irresponsible as to let most important tens of portraits roam around hands of delivery companies? -He points his finger at me, shaking it back and forth. -Yah, tell me now, yah. Should I fire you? Oh?
- Hyung! -I straighten in defense and shake my hands in front of me. -N-no, I just... Do you work like this normally? I didn't know we personally delivered our works?
