Chapter 19

Lovie's POV

"Please call when you get home." My mom smiled as she hugged me one last time. Daquan and Olivia had already said their goodbyes and were in the backseat.

"I will, thank you for having us ma." I responded. "And bye dad." I added hugging him as well.

Daniel closed the trunk and walked back on the sidewalk. "See you soon Mr and Mrs. Jones."

Daniel hugged my mom and shook my dad's hand.

"Goodbye you two, be safe and love each other." My dad smiled. We got back in the car and pulled off.

"This was a really fun trip." Daquan smiled.

"I agree, what do you think Olivia?" Daniel asked.

"It was magical." She answered smiling up at Daquan. Daniel and I gave each other an adoring looking and said nothing.

"This nap about to be magical too." Daquan spoke leaning back in his chair. Within the first few minutes back on the road, Daquan and Olivia were out.

I took Daniel's free hand and intertwined it with mine. "Thank you baby."

"Why are you thanking me?" he asked.

"Because you're amazing and I love you."

Daniel kissed the back of my hand "No, thank you Love."

Daniel's POV

When we got back in town I dropped Olivia off and went back to Love's.

"It feels good to be back." She smiled throwing herself on her bed.

Smiling and taking off my shoes, I laid next to her.

"Yeah, but you're parents place was cool though." I responded. "I liked being in a different atmosphere."

"Yeah, I've never had that much fun at that place before." she smiled. "Mainly because you were there."

"Aww, I'm glad I contributed to that." I smiled.

"Yeah you did." She smiled. "Do you really love me Daniel?"

I nodded. "Yes I do."

"Why?"

Letting out a short laugh, I shrugged laying deeper into her bed. "Because you're so genuine and crazy. I love how you question everything I do, how you love your job and students as if they're your own. You make me a better person. You're beautiful inside and out, I love your ability to try new things. I just love you Love."

Love sat there smiling ear to ear. "Oh Daniel."

"I mean all of it, you make see the world differently."

Kissing me passionately. Lovie rolled her body on top of mine. "Daniel you make me feel so..." she hesitated.

"I make you feel what?" I chuckled rubbing her lower back. "Tell me baby."

"I just want to give you everything. My heart, my body, my soul."

I smiled. "You do that whenever you're ready baby, I promise it'll be worth it."

"Okay." she nodded still straddling me." Does it bother you that we're not having sex?"

"Not at all."

"I love you Daniel."

"I love you too."

Daquan's POV

"Hey ma." I smiled opening the door to see Olivia.

"Hey Quan." she smiled and hugged me. "Where's Ms. Jones?"

Olivia walked inside, taking off her shoes and leaving them at the front door.

"She's at Daniel's place for the night." I responded closing the door.

"She lets you stay the night by yourself?"

I shrugged. "Sometimes, she's been doing it more often now that she in love."

We both chuckled and went to my room. I sat back on the bed where I had left my video game on pause and started to play again.

"So you've been playing the game all day?" she asked.

"Nah, I finished my paper then started like an hour ago."

I continued to play my game while Olivia laid down on her phone. Letting out sigh after sigh. I knew what she was doing.

"Oh." she sighed. Being hypnotized by the game I said nothing.

I felt the bed move slowly and then felt Olivia's body on my back. Her head on the small of my back.

"Quannnn" she whined.

I sighed and paused my game, then placed the controller on my dresser. "Yes ma."

"I have something to tell you."

"Okay" I shrugged.

"I'm late." she spoke. "Like days late."

I turned around so I could look at her in her face. "We had sex almost two weeks ago and you just now telling me this shit?"

"Because I didn't realize it." she answered hesitantly.

I let out a long sigh out of anger before answering "We used a condom ma."

"Maybe it broke?"

"I thought it didn't." I responded. I let out a big sigh again, this one to calm myself down so I could think. Olivia had a worried look on her face, and I didn't want to freak her out more.

"Do you think you might be pregnant?" I asked.

"I don't know, but I feel like you should know just in case."

"Let's not worry until we have to. If it doesn't come after a week, we'll get a test. Okay?" Olivia nodded, leaning her head on my chest.

"Would you be upset if I was pregnant?"

"Yes." I chuckled and she scoffed.

"Quan!"

"You asked."

"That's mean!" she whined.

"We're 16, broke, and jobless. What are we going to do with a baby?"

"People make it work."

"They don't have any choice." I chuckled. "And stop thinking about babies, shit making me uncomfortable."

Olivia laughed as she straddled me. "You're annoying"

I wrapped my arms around her waist. "Yeah, I know."
