"Daniel, have you seen my black square toe heels?" Love asked looking at herself in the mirror. She was prepping for their dinner date, Daniel was sitting on the couch, twiddling with his phone.
"Daniel!" Love repeated, causing him to look up.
"I haven't seen them babe, but did you check your closet?" he answered.
"Here they go." Daquan entered the room holding them. He sat them next to her feet while she was still fixing herself. Lovie said nothing, just gave hime a stern look.
"Thank you." she spoke not changing the blank facial expression on her face.
Daquan nodded then backed away. "Are you still mad?" he asked.
Daniel sat up "Daquan." he spoke shaking his head.
"You mean am I mad that you had sex under my watch?" she spoke. "That you got your sixteen year old girlfriend pregnant? No, I'm not mad." she yelled.
Daniel stood up and went to Lovie. "Babe, calm down. He's just a kid."
"Just a kid?" She scoffed. "This kid is about to be a father."
"And what are you doing to help the situation?" Daniel questioned with a little tone in his voice. Lovie took a deep breath and went back to fixing her hair.
"Look man, just calm down. Relax for the night." Daniel whispered to Daquan.
"She goin get over it right?" he asked him.
"You know she will man." Daniel patted his shoulder. "She loves you."
Daquan went back to his room and Daniel turned to Lovie.
"You ready Love?"
Closing her clutch "Yeah, I need some food."
"Okay, let's go." he smiled pulling his keys out of his pocket.

"Love, are you going to eat?" Daniel asked. Lovie had been playing with her food, she had only taken one bite.
"Yeah, I am." she sighed.
Daniel put down his utensils. "Love, you gotta eat."
"I'm just not really hungry." she responded.
"Tell me how you feel then."
"I just can't stop thinking about Daquan and Olivia. They don't even understand how much a baby is going change their lives." she responded.
"That's true, but no one does. Not even you."
"That was mean"
"Yeah, just like you've been acting lately." Daniel spoke "Why are you treating Daquan like that?"
Lovie shrugged "I don't know, maybe I'm scared for him."
"That doesn't give you reason to be mean. He's scared, Olivia's scared, don't add to it."
"I'm just so, disappointed." she explained. "Like, I didn't even know they had sex, then she's pregnant."
"Stuff like this happens all the time and there is no going back now so we shouldn't dwell." he responded. "We should be helping them."
"How are you so okay with this?"
Daniel shrugged, "Because he's scared." Daniel slime "And I already knew." he spoke taking a bite of food.
Nearly choking on her water, Lovie spoke "You already knew?"
Daniel nodded "Yeah, he told me."
"He told you first?" Lovie spoke in shock.
"Yeah, because he knew you would react like this." he responded. "I'm sorry for not telling you, but they need help, so we gotta help them now."
Lovie nodded "Okay, let's do this."
"Thank you Lovie." Daniel smiled "I hope you don't act this crazy with our kids."
"What?" Lovie looked up from her plate.
"Nothing." Daniel continued eating.
Daquan's POV
"Quan!" Olivia yelled "Get me a drink!"
I grabbed an extra soda from the fridge and went back to my room.
"Here you go, greedy." I spoke handing her the soda.
"Shut up!" She spoke. "It's your fault."
"Nah, I can't agree with you on that one." Daquan grabbed his controller again. "But how are you feeling though, like seriously?"
"I'm good, I stopped throwing up thankfully, and my parents still don't seem to know."
"You gotta tell them Liv." I sighed. "It's better they know now before they find out in their own."
"Quan, they would kill me, or even worse, kick me out!" She spoke. "I can't afford that right now."
"Well you done with the first trimester, you're bound to get bigger."
"I know, and I'm waiting to hear back from my aunt to see if she'll let me stay with her."
"But your aunt lives all the way across town, how am I going to see you?"
"Aww, you'll miss me?" Olivia smiled.
"Nah, I don't have a car." I chuckled causing her to smack my shoulder.
"Nah forreal tho, I like having you around." I said. "Now we're about to have a baby together, I don't like not being able to have you over whenever."
"Yeah, all this is crazy." She sighed.
"But it'll all work out." I smiled lightly. "I promise baby."
