It's early and that may happen every now and then. I'm going to try to upload this story every two days, not making any promises, but I'll try.

Chemistry first hour. While some kids found this class to be boring, I found it fun. Especially since Seth and Jordan were in this class and they....well let's just say they didn't really like rules all too much. They were on a first name basis with the principle thanks to this class. Seth entered the room right after the bell rang.

"Late again, Mr. James," Mr. Adams said.

"So sorry, Mr. Adams," Seth replied sheepishly.

"I'm shocked. Even Mr. Parker got here before you," Mr. Adams replied. Seth looked at Jordan, who was sitting at their table next to mine all the way in the back. Jordan shrugged and held up his hands.

"Sorry dude," he said. Seth rolled his eyes and came and sat down at his seat. I bit my lip to keep myself from laughing. Seth saw and elbowed me.

"Not funny," he whispered as Mr. Adams went on with his mindless chatter.

"That's what you think," I whispered back.

"Shut it. Where's your partner?" he asked, looking to my left and seeing the empty seat.

"I don't know and I don't really care," I answered. My lab partner, Iris, was not the nicest person around and she wasn't all too fond of me.

"Ms. Davidson?" Mr. Adams said.

"Yeah?" I said, expecting to be scolded for talking while he was.

"Your partner has decided to switch schools. Therefore, you have a new partner," he said. A new partner? Who? Everyone in this class was already paired up with someone.

"I do?" I said.

"Yes, he's not here at the moment, probably in the office still but-" he was interrupted when Mrs. Nixon, the principle, opened the door.

"Mr. Adams? This is the new student, Damon Smith," she said, stepping aside to reveal a drop dead gorgeous boy. He had black hair, the deepest ocean blue eyes, and a perfect tan. He was wearing dark blue jeans, a black t-shirt that hugged his six pack, and a leather jacket. Every girl gasped- every girl but me. I rolled my eyes. I could see his personality just by the look on his face. He had an arrogant smirk and was eying the room with amusement. The new student. The new student was my lab partner. He was my lab partner. Oh hell no. This was NEVER going to work. Give him a chance, Hayley, I thought. You don't even know him.

"Ten bucks says he's gay," I heard Seth mumble to Jordan. Jordan snickered and looked over at me, gray eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Don't look at me, because I don't care," I whispered.

"You know you do," he mouthed. I flipped him off and he grinned at me.

"Do not," I sang.

"Mr. Smith, nice to meet you. I'm Mr. Adams," the teacher said, shaking Damon's hand.

"What's up?" Damon greeted. Yep. Definitely an arrogant jerk.

"Maybe not," Seth mumbled. I rolled my eyes again.

"Why don't you go ahead and take a seat next to your lab partner? She's in the back over there by the window," Mr. Adams said, pointing over at me. Crud, I thought. Damon looked back and met my gaze. I dropped it and looked at Seth and Jordan.

"Either of you want to trade partners?" I offered. They both grinned and shook their heads. I sighed.

"Sorry, Hayl," they said. Damon walked to the back, with every girl gawking at him, and sat down by me.
