Travis's POV

"You stopped taking your pills?" I asked. Dalton placed his head in his arms. "I'm sorry." he said. His voice cracked so I knew he was crying. I reached my hand over his shoulder. "Its ok. You're ok." I whispered.

Mitch was standing in the doorway. I walked over to him. "Come out when you're ready, bud." I said and pulled me and Mitch to the others. "He ok?" Kacey asked. "Yeah. He's fine." I said.

We all were talking about something random when Dalton finally came out of the bathroom. He had stripped down to his boxers and went over to his bunk. I glanced at Mitch. He looked at Dalton, worry taking over him. I pulled him closer to me and gave him a kiss and he snuggled up to my chest.

Dalton's POV

I felt like I was dying. It hurt so much right now. My body felt as if it were on fire. I looked down at my hand it was shaking uncontrollably. I reached down to touch it. It was cold.

I tried closing my eyes. "Dalton? Doing any better?" a small called. It was an adults yet it sounded faint. I glanced over my shoulder and saw Kacey. I nodded my head. "Quit lying." she said. "I'm not." I said, voice cracking and all. "Mhm." she said rolling her eyes. "Keep it shut." I warned and rolled back over.

I heard her sigh and walk away.

Half way through the night, I felt a cold hand on my side and I flinched. "Its just me." Mitch whispered. I turned to see him standing there I looked over and saw everyone asleep.

"Can I sleep with you? Its a bit uncomfortable down on the floor." Mitch asked. "Yeah. Sure." I said. I lifted up my covers and let him slide in. He rested his head on my chest and closed his eyes. I hesitantly put my hand on his shoulder.

"G'night." he mumbled. "Night." I said.

I drifted into sleep. The feeling of his breaths was comforting on my bare chest.

I woke up to no one laying next to me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I stretched my arms above my head and looked around. My eyes met the window and, let me tell you, it didn't feel good.

I winced at the sudden bright light and laid back down.

5 minutes later, I was in the kitchen. "Dalton, there's these things. They're called pants." Travis commented. I pushed my forehead against the fridge and walked back to my bag. I pulled out some shorts and pulled them on.

I walked back into the kitchen. "Happy?" I said. He chuckled to himself.

"Get ready. The others have to get to sound check soon." Travis said as he walked out of the bathroom. I got a pair of loose jeans, a black tank top, a blue plaid over shirt and my black ankle-high converse.

I put everything on and styled my hair off to the side. I walked out of the bathroom to see everyone finishing getting ready. I walked outside to get to the SUV. "Why so early?" the driver said. "Thought I'd be alone." I responded.

Everyone soon came out and piled in.

We drove for a while until screams took over my mind. I looked out the window to see the faces of random strangers lining up. I groaned quietly as someone opened their door.

I watched as everyone got out. I stepped out and put my sunglasses on. I looked around as I felt someone try and touch me. "You're worthless!" they yelled. Travis grabbed my hand and pulled me forward. "Let go of that piece of shit! He's not worth it!" someone else yelled. I pulled my hand out of his grip and ran back to the SUV. "Can you take me to the bus?" I asked the driver. He nodded and started to drive.

As we drove, I thought about the names being yelled. 'Bitch' 'pussy' 'worthless' 'stupid'.

I pulled my over shirt to wipe the wetness from eyes as I realized everything they said was true.

We pulled up to the bus and I ran inside. I started putting everything back into my suitcases. "Is Dalton here?" A breathless Travis said from another room. "In there." the driver said.

"What're doing?" Travis said as he entered the bunk area. "I'm leaving." I said. "Oh yeah. Where to?" he said. "Home." I told him.

I slung my back pack on my shoulder and grabbed my suitcase. I walked out to the car and put my bags in the trunk. "What about Mitch? He was so excited that you were coming. Its only the second show. Are you upset because they were-" I cut him off. "No! The only reason I'm upset is because everything they said is true! I am a bitch. I am stupid and best of all I am worthless!" I yelled. He stared at me. "You know what? You're wrong. If you're such a bitch, then how the hell did you put a knife into your own fucking body. If you're so stupid, how the fuck are you getting A's? And if you're such a worthless piece of shit, why the hell did we go back for you?" he said loudly.

I looked at him. "I put that knife in my stomach because I can't do this. The names. They get to the point where I break down. The only reason I get those grades are because the classes I take are for fuck ups. And the reason you came back? I still ask myself that question."
