Travis's POV
My grip on the steering wheel tightened as we drove to Tori's. Mitch should've never walked out. Hopefully he understands what he's done.
We pulled into Tori's driveway in a little under 10 minutes. "This is my fault, isn't it?" Mitch asked. I looked at him and nodded. What? I'm an honest husband. We got out of the car and walked to the front door.
I knocked on the door and Tori opened the door. "Dalton! Get down here! Douchebags..." she said. She glared at us as we walked inside. It was an uncomfortable stare.
Dalton appeared at the bottom of the stairway. "Hey." he said. Mitch ran to him and pulled him into a hug. He whispered something to him before pulling away. "Uh, Tori, mind giving us some privacy, babe?" Dalton said. She walked reluctantly to the stairway. She gave Dalton a peck on the cheek before walking upstairs. Dalton watched until she was all the way up the stairs.
"So, you and her, huh?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood. "She makes me happy." he said, "Now what do you want?" he asked. "We're Dalton. Really, we are. We just wanted you to be happy. You've always talked about wanting to be an angel going to heaven and..." Mitch was choked off by his crying. "Dalton, please. We shouldn't of walked out. What more do you want us to say?" I said.
Dalton was quiet for a while. "One chance. That's it. If you fuck up, you're done. Got it?" he said. "Of course." I said. Mitch nodded in agreement.
"So are you coming back on tour? I mean, Tori could come if you'd like." I offered. He smiled at the ground and back at us. "I'd like that." he said. It was nice to see that smile again.
