I’m gonna go bonkers describing my OC now. As all of you know by now, Ahmya is Deku’s elder sister in this fanfic of mine and also that she has a very powerful quirk which I decided to call “Archangel”.

I didn’t go into the nitty gritty of her quirk back when I was introducing her. She will also play a relevant role in chapters to come, so I just thought you guys should get to know her better. Let’s start with her personality.

She has a kind and laid back personality and tries to help as any people as she can. Her height it 6 foot 4 inches. She is also very easy to make friends with. Sometimes, she thinks that her height is an inconvenience as she hits her head on everything if she’s not paying attention to her surroundings. She is afraid of the deep bodies of water and cockroaches, but if a spider comes near her, she might literally burn the house down (unintentionally of course).

Now, let us get into the fun stuff. Her quirk and capabilities. As I had mentioned in the first chapter, she has the ability to summon black flames and lightning out of her body, can fly because of her long, black, raven-like wings, and open multiple portals to her very own, personal pocket dimension.
Ahmya’s hero name is “Abyss”. She uses her lightning to snipe enemies from afar as her flames will function more like a close range ability. Her lightning doesn’t really have any electric capabilities but have a certain weight to it that make Abyss’ targets feel like they were just rammed with a truck when the lightning hits. It also drains their stamina and adds it to her pool.
She uses her flames more like gauntlets and cover her arms with them to amplify her melee attacks but can still used as a mid-range attack. The flames also have the same weight to it as the lightning does but Abyss doesn’t really feel its weight. The flames do not suck stamina but they are as below negative 100°C and instantly freeze the impacted area. The ice formed though is unnatural as it is iridescent in colour and does not melt under extreme heat.
The only way the ice will unfreeze is if Abyss wills it to. Her wings let her fly great distances quickly but they tire out as any normal human’s limbs would after extensive use. She can also use her portals to capture villains but she cannot move her portals around and she also cannot make a portal where solid matter is present. Like a wall or the floor for example. She usually uses her portal to trap unconscious or defeated villains and make them poof into jail cells. That being said, she can only make portals in places she can see or knows the coordinates of.
When she gets serious, her bright yellow eyes glazes over and turns silvery and her usual toothy grin gets replaced with a bored expression. She had had enough of the villain she's fighting. The sky around her darkens and rogue bolts of lightning arc off her body and her platinum coloured hair turns dark grey and catches flames and her wings grow longer. Her lightning hits harder, suck more stamina and now, it even electrocutes it's targets. It also increases her physical strength and speed. Her feathers turn solid, almost metal-like and she can hurl them at her enemies like throwing knives. She can use her portals to redirect her feathers if she misses. Her fire is colder. So cold in fact that everything around her freezes in seconds. Her portals obtain a gravitational pull not unlike 13’s black hole and can even suck in objects that are fixed to the ground. Like stop signs and fire hydrants.
She calls this form “Nyx”, one of the only Greek Celestials older than the Titans and Olympians. The embodiment of night itself. Abyss can only maintain this form for 15 to 30 minutes if she really pushes herself but most battles are over by then. If she uses too much of her lightning, it starts to function like a sugar rush and she may pass out after the battle. If she uses her fire too much, she risks freezing herself. Portals are pretty much useless in combat unless uses it as a shield to block incoming projectile attacks. But if you're an everyday thug, you stand no chance against Abyss.
