Ch.4: UA Entrance Exams

Ahmya had graduated from UA High, the most prestigious hero school in all of Japan, and the world; now, it was Deku's turn to go to UA and become a hero. The #1 hero, to prove everyone who doubted him wrong.

His sister wanted to recommend him to UA but Deku refused. He wanted to use his own assets to get in, just like his sister had before him.

Deku: "Sis, please. I-it just feels like I would be cheating you know? Being recommended by my own sister just doesn't feel right..."

Ahmya "Yeesh dude. Ya don't have to make such a big deal about it. Anyway, I know you'll easily get in. After all, you were trained by yours truly and our dad after all." *smirk*

As he was walking into the school grounds, he couldn't help but think about the entrance exams and what people would think about his quirk.

???: "I'm not a quirk dammit!"

Deku: "What the-"

Distracted by this, he trips over his own feet but manages to compose himself fast enough. He puts one arm towards the ground and does a frontflip, accidentally grazing a girl behind him in the shoulder with his foot.

After he sees what he did, he apologises extensively to her even though she said it was fine. Giggling, she introduces herself as "Ochaco Uraraka" and she asks Deku what his quirk is.

Deku: "Well...I never actually thought of a name for it."

Uraraka: "Well, what does it do?"

Deku was hesitant. He didn't want her to know his quirk.

Deku: "Y-you'll see it later anyways..."

Uraraka is surprised but decides not to pry any further. The pair go into the building together but there was an air of awkwardness after what Deku had said.

Deku passes the written test fairly easily and now it's time for the practical exam. He wanted to apologise to Uraraka for what had happened before but decides against it as he didn't want to distract her from her objective.

Deku: 'I'll just speak to her after this'

As the gates open, Deku forms his claws and charges in faster than any other student present there, leaving a trail of dark violet light in his wake.

Uraraka catches a glimpse of Deku's claws and wonders why he doesn't just call his quirk "Claws". She then notices the thick tendrils coming out of his arms and forming INTO the claws at his hands and the dark-violet light that was emanating from the small gaps in-between the tendrils, visibly giving the area around him a violet hue.

Deku speeds across the mock city and annihilates every robot in his path, keeping count of his kills.

Deku: 'Alright so that's what? 32 kills? How many points did I rack up by now? Crap, I didn't even keep count!'

???: 'Thats what I'm here for. You have 48 points'

Deku gets over this surprise and wonders what the heck this voice is.

???: 'Who else is in your body?'

Deku: *sigh* "whoever you are, we'll talk later. How many points do I have now?"

???: '136 right now. You can rest easy.'

Deku complies with the voice and stops fighting the robots, runs up a tall building, observes everyone's quirks and takes notes of it.

Deku: "A boy with a laser...coming from his...stomach. Okay."

He notices something from the corner of his eye, moving at fast speeds. He looks at it and sees a boy with dark blue hair and glasses.

Deku: "His only method of attack seems to be kicks but, they're devastating"

As if right on cue, the blue haired boy kick a 3-pointer right in the head and it goes flying.

Deku then sees a girl. Brown hair, round-ish face. Uraraka.

Deku: "What is her quirk? I don't remember her telling me it....well, who am I to say that? I did the same thing..."

He sees Uraraka touch a 2-pointer and it starts to float up into the sky. Two more attack her and she weaves through them and make the other 2 float too. Suddenly, the robots fall, now broken. As far as Deku could see, she was nauseous.

Deku: "Whoa...that right there, is a very versatile quirk."

???: 'Yes. And with enough practice, quite powerful too.'

Deku: "Huh, I don't see Kacchan anywhere. Didn't he say he was applying this year?"

???: 'He may be in another area'

He still has a few minutes until the time was over and everyone had to stop fighting the robots.

*In the observation room*

Nedzu: "Well Toshinori, who interests you the most?"

All Might: "See that green haired boy sitting on top of that building? I had met him before in my buff form. He was keeping that one sludge villain busy. He was so fast that the villain couldn't even touch him..."

He then sees Deku talking to himself.

All Might: "...strange..."

Nedzu: "Hmm? What is?"

All Might: "He seems to be talking to himself. That isn't it though. I had seen him form another weapon other than his claws. Infact, he used that to take down the sludge villain the second time around. I was out of time and all I could do was observe. Why did he never use it here?"

Nedzu: "Want to see him use it again?"

*Back to Izuku*

Then, the 0-pointer robot appears. Deku is just looking at the mechanical behemoth and is just wondering aloud.

Deku: "If that is just there to help someone show off their quirk, it isn't working that well. At least...not for me."

???: 'Ha! The things you did to the other robots was enough to grab other people's attention. What's one more?'

Deku: "I just-I don't wanna stand out much..."

He then hears a familiar voice screaming for help. He then recognises the voice. It's Uraraka, and it's coming from right under the 0-pointer. He wastes no time and takes a giant leap from the building and glides halfway there and runs as fast as he can the rest of the way.
He arrives just in time to see Uraraka stuck under the rubble of a broken building and the 0-pointer bringing its foot down, ready to crush her.

???: 'Quick, kill that thing. There's is no time to pull her out of the rubble!'

Deku: "Grrrr...FUCK IT!"

He jumps up to the 0-pointer's face, forms his hammerfists and punches the robot so hard that it rips a giant hole right through it's face. Everyone was stunned after Deku's show of power. Deku them starts to fall but isn't worried. He can handle such falls. But before he touched the ground, something slapped him and he started to float.

Uraraka: "R-release"

Deku the proceeds to fall 3 more feet.

He then finds out that cancelling gravity isn't Uraraka's only power, as she starts to barf rainbows.

Deku: "T-thanks...for the save I mean."

???: 'How did she even get out from under the rubble?'

Deku: "Beats me..."

Present Mic: "TIMES'S UP!!!"

No one had said anything yet. Just stared in awe at what Deku had just did. After he helped Uraraka become stable, to his surprise, she hugged him and said thanks. Deku was in shock. He also had a slight blush on his cheeks.

???: 'Aww have a crush do we ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)'

Deku: "S-shut up!"

Uraraka: "What?"

Deku: "N-nothing! Nothing at all!"
