☆I once again go to Liam to check if he found a drummer to practice with me. Luke, the drummer of Rosethorn, already knows the song they're going to play and it has been checked with Zayn if his drumming fits, and it did, so he doesn't need someone to practice with. The sisters don't have a drummer, which leaves just me who needs someone.
It's getting closer and closer to performance time, with just three days left, and I really want someone to check the last few things with. I arrive to his meeting room and knock on the door. "Who's there?"
"Alex."
"Come in Alex."
I open the door and walk inside. He seems a little stressed with papers surrounding him, and glasses on, of which he said he only needs them if he reads so much that his head hurts.
"I was wondering if you found a drummer to work with?"
"I contacted the 5sos boys, and Ashton is willing to come over tonight at 8 pm to check a few things. I hope he does well, and I'll make sure one of us joins the session to make sure he doesn't ruin your playing. I can see him doing that."
"Alright, thanks Liam. At what time is he here?"
"Seven PM. I'll make sure dinner's finished by then."
"Okay, I'm gonna go practice a little more in my room then."
"Ofcourse Alex. I'll see you at dinner."
"See you."
I leave the room again and happily walk up the stairs. I watched a few 5sos video's of them in concert when I figured out they were one of the judges, and Ashton's a good drummer. I wouldn't mind being in their team, drumming wise.
When I get our wing, no one's there. Where on earth are Day and Emely?
I shrug it off and go to my room to practice. O.D.D. has some tricky parts in it, which I can play for the most part, but any practice is nice. I climb behind the drums and grab the sticks I leave on top of them. I flip them in my hand until they feel right. Then I start playing.

When it's almost 5 pm I go to the kitchen to see if someone's making dinner, and I see Harry there. "What are we eating?"
He turns around in shock. "I didn't hear you coming in. We're eating this chicken thing. I forgot what it's called but it's good. Louis made it for me, and since then we eat it at least once a month."
"Nice. Is it almost finished? I have practice with Ashton at seven and want to be sure that I'm ready."
"Yep, almost finished. Why don't you go put everything on the table already? We'll need seventeen of each item so it takes a while to get everything there."
"Ofcourse." I walk over to the cabinets and open the one with plates inside, counting exactly seventeen on the lowest shelf, luckily. Since I'm not the tallest I can barely reach the top shelf.
I grab eight plates and start carrying them over to the attached dinner room. I still can't get over the fact that there's an apart room for that. In the apartment me and my mom had were two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a small living room. Not even a balcony or garden.
