☆I look at the notes I made of all the bands. Anonymously MADE was the most positive. There's still a raw edge to the voice of Emely, and I think they should stop including the keyboard, but they play really good, and they have an image you won't forgot, ever.
Then there's Rosethorn and the Song Sisters.
Rosethorn is pretty good, but it's more of a pub-band good. Like you'll be able to make a lot more when they play in a bar and might be able to do a few concerts or small festivals but that's it. It's not really new or with an image.
The Song Sisters are a sisterhood, which isn't around that much in this music world, but they aren't really a bad. If I can get one of them to just add something to it, like a bass or guitar it would be much more exciting and might be able to sell good, but if Rosethorn puts everything into it, they'll be able to do that as well.
I sigh and look at the grades I gave them. I made 10 points they had to get. A-MADE as I call them for short, has 9 of them.
Rosethorn has a just 5,5.
The Song Sisters have 5.I sigh.
"Hey Liam. How's it going?" Ashton looks at the papers laying in front of me.
"Not that well. I don't know who to let trough. A-MADE is definitely to the next round, but it's difficult choosing between the others. They're just as good."
"Looking at these grades it's not that good." He grabs the one I have for the Song Sisters, seeing the 5 out of 10 in the upper right corner.
"I guess." I scratch me head, reading trough the documents I have for Rosethorn.
"These girls do have good qualities. You could really mix that up and have them be the next best thing. I think that's more difficult with a band like Rosethorn in which they had clear roles from the start." He snatches the paper out of my hand and looks trough it quickly.
"Would they be open for changes?" He looks at me and continues, "because if Rosethorn is, it could maybe make it, but there would be a lot of work needing to be done in 4 weeks. And according to me, neither of them would have the same role."
"I don't think they are. I believe they mostly participated to beat Anonymously MADE but they aren't even close to doing that. They know each other from high school and kind of had a fight when they saw each other the first time."
"If there's no chemistry between the band you are going to let trough and this one, don't let them trough. It can only lead to problems. Both for the bands and for you and your team. It won't work out, because the bands have to work together, and if I hear it like this, it would be better between the Song Sisters and Anonymously MADE than it would be between Rosethorn and Anonymously MADE."
Ashton puts the papers down and brushes trough his hair. "Micheal, come help out here. The Jonas Brothers are getting help from Little Mix anyway and Liam's all alone."
The blonde haired guy walks over, confused. "What's wrong?"
"He doesn't know who should go to the next round." Ashton explains, leaning against my dark blue desk in front of the stage.
"Clearly Anonymously MADE. They are amazing and people are clearly the most excited about them."
"I got that much. What about the other two?" I look up at him.
He keeps silent, and so does Ashton, looking at the other guy expectantly.
When did I start to take advice from a guy with bright red hair and his friend who looks like the male version of an e-boy? I don't even know.
