It's Time

Author's Point Of View:

Moments passed.

Rose was still standing near the tree while petting Forest. She was still now. Like there was no emotion at all in her face. Staring deep at nothing.

Taehyung was on the other hand, didn't know what to do. He was battling between to go or not to go near Rose.

'I messed up...didn't I?' He thought to himself giving a long heavy sigh.

Suddenly, He picked up something.

Lilly and Eleanor's scent

His head snapped to the direction from where they were supposed to come from. He stared deep at the mass of trees until they showed themselves.

He also noticed that their facial expression was kind of dull. He thought that they weren't happy for some reason. Well, he's in the same category too. But he doesn't know why their mood was like that. Then again, he just shrugged it off.

Eleanor and Lilly had a visible frown on their faces.

They weren't happy for what they did. They thought that if Taehyung and Rose stayed alone together, they could get closer. Because they knew that Taehyung would think that they were going on a shopping spree and would show up later. As a result, Taehyung would just sit down somewhere and talk.

They did it though. However, things didn't turn out which they were looking for.

When they finally decided to show up from their strolling around the town, they picked up Rose's hammering heart and her emotions.

She was crying

Both girls looked at each other with shock in their eyes. So they sped off to where Taehyung and Rose were. They knew that Taehyung had already picked up their scents then.

...

Taehyung, didn't want to be caught staring at Rose, so he walked near to his sister and Lilly before they see him standing there. He acted casual. He didn't know that lilly and eleanor gone on purpose. He didn't even question them. Because he trusts them with whatever they did.

"You guys took so much time."

By that statement, Taehyung was reffering to 'let's go to the castle right now'.

Lilly and Eleanor didn't day anything but nodded.

Silently they walked to their horses. Until, when the girls was just one hand away from Rose, they tried cheer the atmosphere up.

"Hey! Have you enjoyed your shopping?" Lilly asked. Faking the excitement

Rose got startled for a while for she didn't even hear them coming towards her or standing next to her.

When lilly asked that, she subconsciously took a glance at Taehyung who was acting like minding his own business.

"Y-Yeah I enjoyed it"

Every of them knew that it wasn't true. But they decided to let it slide.

"I have a bunch of bags with clothes. Let's go to the castle quickly and surprise the humans!" Eleanor forcely said when she noticed that growing tension between them after Rose's statement.

She tucked lilly on her hands as gesture to 'let's get going'. Then they went to ride their respective horses.

On the way to the horses, they gave each other a meaningful look.

'Yes...its time' lilly and eleanor thought at the same time.

They didn't want to see Taehyung and Rose being like this. The fact that they both want each other by their side but completely unaware of it.

So they decided to tell Taehyung and Rose about what they mean to each other...

Rose on the other hand grew tense again. Suddenly, she remembered that she had to ride with Taehyung. And Taehyung felt that too.

But wanting act normal in front of the two vampire girls, they went near to Forest.

When Rose was enough near to Forest, she brought back the memory when Taehyung lifted her up on Forest. So she subconsciously turned around to see Taehyung. But when she did, she gasped. Because Taehyung was just behind her. Staring. With worried or soft eyes. She couldn't say.

In this tense moment like this, Eleanor and Lilly can't help but secretly stare at them with fondness.

Without a word, Taehyung brought his one hand to the side of Rose's waist to turn her to him properly. Rose grew breathless staring at him. Maintaining the eye contact, Taehyung swiftly lifted off her feet until she was on Forest. 

Its like they were communicating through the eyes of something. Suddenly Rose saw that her hands were on Taehyung's biceps this whole time. After that she finally landed on earth and quickly retreated her hands from Taehyung. Avoiding eye contact.

Taehyung saw this as a sigh as his turn to ride, he swiftly rode on Forest  behind Rose. Lilly and Eleanor already took off by then.

Taehyung grabbed the reins on Forest , completely unaware of what he was doing to Rose who just witnessed his side profile by her ear which went red. She can't help but feel the shiver again through her whole body.

Urging Forest to take off, they finally direct their journey to the castle.

This time the whole way to the castle was silence. Not even lilly and Eleanor were talking. But sometimes would try to crack a joke which resulted nothing with the tension there.
