'Stranger'

Author's Point Of View~

It was a cloudy day with cold air that was starting to form.. It felt like it will be raining soon. Wind was whistling as it flowed and Rose was rubbing her arms continuously in an attempt to keep herself warm.

Rose was walking through the sidewalks as she was heading for the University. She was late when she told Sara and Orka that she will be early.

'They must be waiting for me for so long my god'

She thought as she started to fasten her pace even more. She stayed awake for like 3:15am and didn't even noticed when she had fallen asleep and it was morning already. No alarms.

'And I thought I turned on the alarm'

She cursed herself at the thought.

Clutching her jacket tightly around her as she stopped to where she needed to cross to the other side of the road. Tapping her foot impatiently as she was waiting for the cars to drive pass the zebra crossing.

There wasn't many people on the streets as the area is always quite. The woods surrounding the area is the another reason for people to not to wake around here. For Rose, this road is the shortcut to her University. She often used it when she would be late like this time. Otherwise she wouldn't.

She watched as the last truck passed by her. She lay out a breath as she finally get to cross the road. Being the impatient she was, she started to move forward,

Suddenly, Her heart was accelerating for some reason.

It was an instinct...of danger.

That's when, she heard a loud horn from the truck that was coming straight at her.

Yes, she didn't even notice that there was an another truck behind the last truck that she thought it was. And.. it was way too close to move from that road at that instant and it showed no sign of slowing down...

The driver was looking for his water bottle in the truck without even noticing a person was right in front of his speedy truck.

As Rose looked back at the truck, it's like she forgot to breath and like any other person, her mind went completely frozen to process anything at first. Then, A shock wave ran through her body as she realized what was happening but when she did, it was too late. The truck had came to the distance where she couldn't even escape in time.

"Oh my God!!" The truck driver exclaimed when he finally looked up to a girl standing right in front of his truck and...about to hit her.

Rose shakily screamed, quickly closed her eyes tightly as she knew she about to receive a very hurtful impact from the truck, when,

She felt a strong force dragging her across the road to the other side.

She lay out a gasp when she felt her feet landed on the ground. She was shaking so hard to process anything. She was closing her eyes, still thinking that she got hit.

But, she didn't.

Right then, she felt a hand moved behind her back to grip her tightly to....the person's arms.

And, that's when, she realized that she wasn't hurt. At all. She just felt a little bit dizzy by the sudden force and her heart was beating rapidly in it's ribcage.

Then she heard a worried voice,

"Rose! Are you okay?!"

That voice didn't sound familiar. But hearing it, she finally opened her eyes as she breathed heavily. There she saw a man.... never saw him before but at the same time she thought she saw him.... somewhere. But still she couldn't believe that she was saved when she thought she would be dying today.
